Warabi-shuku

Warabi (蕨市, Warabi-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 January 2021, the city had an estimated population of 75,697 in 39,563 households and a population density of 15,000 persons per km². The total area of the city is 5.11 square kilometres (1.97 sq mi). Warabi has the smallest area of any municipality in Japan, and highest population density outside of the special wards of Tokyo.

Toda (戸田市, Toda-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 February 2021, the city had an estimated population of 140,902 in 66,765 households and a population density of 7700 persons per km². The total area of the city is 18.19 square kilometres (7.02 sq mi).

Saitama Prefectural Warabi High School (埼玉県立蕨高等学校, Saitama Kenritsu Warabi Koutou Gakkou), often shortened to Warakou (蕨高) is a public high school, located in Warabi City, Saitama, Japan. The number of applicants increased, and both like 7.57 times as for the magnification of the entrance exam of the previous term of fiscal year 2006 and 2.34 times as for the latter half of the year entrance exam were the best every year in the public high school school infantry in the saitama prefecture.

The Toda Rowing Course (戸田漕艇場, Toda Sōteijō) is a venue that hosted the rowing event at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Originally completed in 1939 for the 1940 Summer Olympics that were cancelled due to World War II. After World War II, the venue was left in disrepair. When Tokyo was awarded the 1964 Summer Olympics in 1958, the venue was expanded and reconstructed. It is located on an embankment of the Arakawa River in the Saitama Prefecture near Tokyo.

Minato stable (湊部屋, Minato-beya) is a stable of sumo wrestlers, formerly part of the Tokitsukaze ichimon or group of stables. It was founded in 1982 by former komusubi Yutakayama, who branched off from Tokitsukaze stable. Minato-oyakata studied at the Tokyo University of Agriculture, and due to his interest in academia his stable was the first to introduce a library on its premises. Until the arrival of Ichinojō, the stable had produced just one makuuchi division wrestler, Minatofuji, who reached a highest rank of maegashira 2 in 1995 and later became a coach at the stable under the name Tatsutagawa. In July 2010 Minato and Tatsutagawa swapped roles. In the same month the Chinese wrestler Nakanokuni earned promotion to the jūryō division. In December 2017 Minato Oyakata left the Tokitsukaze ichimon, leaving the stable unaffiliated to any group. As of January 2022, it had 9 wrestlers. In September 2018 it joined the Nishonoseki ichimon.

Canoeing at the 1964 Summer Olympics was held between 20 October 1964 and 22 October 1964 on Lake Sagami, 60 kilometres (37 miles) from Sagamiko, Kanagawa, Japan. There were 7 events, 5 of which were for men and 2 for women. Both of the women's events were 500 metre kayaking events; there were three kayaking and two canoeing events for men, all of which covered 1000 metres. The K-4 event for men was introduced to the Olympic program at these Games, replacing the 4×500 metre K-1 event that was raced in the 1960 Games. The Romanian canoeists garnered the most medals at 5, but did not win a single gold medal. In that category the Soviet competitors were the most successful, taking three championships. The German team and the Swedish team each won a pair of golds as well.
