Raopura

The Chimnabai Clock Tower, also known as the Raopura Tower, is a clock tower situated in the Raopura area of Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was completed in 1896 and named in memory of Chimnabai I (1864–1885), a queen and the first wife of Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda State. It was built in Indo-Saracenic architecture style.

Vadodara, also known as Baroda, is a major city in the Indian state of Gujarat. Raopura is one of the 182 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Gujarat state in India. It is part of Vadodara district. Rajendra Trivedi A.K.A Rajubhai Vakil was elected the MLA in the 2017 vidhaansabha elections. He is currently the Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

Sursagar Lake also known as the Chand Talao is a lake situated in middle of the city of Vadodara in the State of Gujarat in India. The lake was rebuilt with stone masonry in the 18th Century. The water in this lake remains in it for the whole year. A concrete wall surrounds the lake on which the people use to sit. A 120 feet (37 m) tall statue of lord Shiva built by Vadodara mahanagar Seva Sadan stands in the middle of the lake. There are many underwater gates in the lake which empty the lake if it overflows. The water from the lake empties in the Vishvamitra River. The lake was used for boating. The statue of Shiva is lit with lights on Mahashivratri. As of 2015, boating has been prohibited in the lake for various issues. The lake is known for a large number of suicides which occur yearly. Between January and October 2014, 15 suicides were reported to the authorities, who attribute the lake's isolation and seclusion make it a choice destination for suicides.

Kala Bhavan (lit. 'House of Arts') or Sneapati Bhavan also known as Faculty of Technology and Engineering is a historical building and a technical institute in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was established by Sayajirao Gaekwad III in June 1890.

The Nyay Mandir, which means Temple of Justice, is a piece of Byzantine architecture in India. It houses the District Court of Vadodara city in the state of Gujarat, western India. The central hall is decorated with mosaic tiles and a statue of Chimnabai, the wife of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. Restoration and repair work of historical Nyay Mandir kicked This is for the first time that a major initiative in this direction has been taken by the administration with the help of road and buildings department of the state government. Parts of the historical building have been damaged and yellow Italian marble tiles on its exterior have started to come off at some places. At several locations, one can see plaster coming off even as the grills of the windows and galleries of the structure are damaged. Superintending engineer of the department, AK Patel said the renovation was among the work taken up for the golden jubilee celebration of Gujarat's statehood. Patel said the renovation and restoration work would be conducted under expert advice. He said the exterior of the building will be cleaned. Its roof is already being repaired. Patel said the work on the building will be completed by March next year. The restoration and renovation will take care of all the damages to the building so far. The restoration work was kicked off by district judge Atul Vakil.

khanderao market is a famous and palatial building located in the city of Vadodara, Gujarat State, western India. It was erected by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1906, named after Khande Rao Gaekwad, Maharaja of Baroda (1856–1870). It was presented by him as a gift to the Municipality to mark the Silver Jubilee of his administration. The offices of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation are located in this building. Fresh vegetable and flower market is also located in the back garden.

Baroda Medical College is a medical educational institution for undergraduate and postgraduate medical studies that comes under the Faculty of Medicine of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. It is located in the Raopura area at Vadodara, India. It is primarily affiliated with Sir Sayajirao General Hospital. The college was established in 1949.
