Goebelsmuhle railway station

The Wiltz (Luxembourgish: Wolz, [volts] ) is a river flowing through Belgium and Luxembourg, joining the Sauer at Goebelsmuhle. The Clerve is a tributary of the Wiltz.

Goebelsmuhle (Luxembourgish: Giewelsmillen, German: Goebelsmühle) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2006, the village had a population of 17, which subsequently increased to 34 by 2019. Nearby is the confluence of the Sauer and the Wiltz. It is served by Goebelsmuhle railway station, which lies on Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois' Line 10.

Bourscheid (Luxembourgish: Buerschent [ˈbuːɐ̯ʃənt] ; German: Burscheid) is a commune and small town in north-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Diekirch, which is part of the district of Diekirch. As of 2005, the town of Bourscheid, which lies in the centre of the commune, had a population of 266, which subsequently increased to 466 by 2021. Other settlements within the commune include Goebelsmuhle, Lipperscheid, Michelau, Schlindermanderscheid, and Welscheid. Bourscheid Castle located close to the village is Luxembourg's largest and one of the most important medieval castles between the Meuse and the Rhine.

Schlindermanderscheid (Luxembourgish: Schlënnermanescht) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 165, which subsequently decreased to 137 by 2019. It has the longest town name in Luxembourg.

Lipperscheid (Luxembourgish: Lëpschent) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. In 2007 the village had a population of 190, which subsequently increased to 294 by 2019.

Bourscheid Castle (French: Château de Bourscheid, German: Burg Bourscheid, Luxembourgish: Buerg Buerschent) is located near the village of Bourscheid in north-eastern Luxembourg. The medieval castle stands on a site with archeological evidence of structures dating back to Roman times. Standing majestically some 150 metres (490 ft) above the River Sûre, it is enclosed by a circular wall with 11 watchtowers.

Hoscheid (Luxembourgish: Houschent) is a small town in north-eastern Luxembourg. It was a commune, part of the canton of Diekirch, which was part of the district of Diekirch. On January 1, 2012, the commune merged with Consthum and Hosingen communes to form Parc Hosingen commune; thereby becoming part of Clervaux canton. As of 2021, the town of Hoscheid, which lies in the south of the commune, had a population of 473. Among local personalities is Jean Ersfeld, who, in 2004, led his party, the Free Party of Luxembourg in the legislative elections.

Welscheid (Luxembourgish: Welschent) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 145, which subsequently increased to 204. Welscheid is connected to the cycling path PC16 with a short serpentine road to Bourscheid.

Michelau railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Méchela, French: Gare de Michelau, German: Bahnhof Michelau) is a railway station serving the town of Michelau, in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 10, which connects Luxembourg City to the centre and north of the country.

Gralingen (Luxembourgish: Grooljen) is a village in the commune of Putscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 132.

Michelau (Luxembourgish: Méchela) is a small town in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town had a population of 271, which subsequently increased to 328 by 2019.It is served by Michelau railway station, which lies on Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois' Line 10.

Burden (Luxembourgish: Bierden [ˈbiːɐ̯dən], German: Bürden [ˈbʏʁdn̩] ) is a village in the commune of Erpeldange, in northern Luxembourg. The village has a population of 537, 545. Burden is accessible by car via Warken and Bourscheid. It is connected for unmotorized traffic to the N27 road with a Bailey bridge.
