Michelau railway station

Michelau (Luxembourgish: Méchela) is a small town in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town had a population of 271, which subsequently increased to 328 by 2019.It is served by Michelau railway station, which lies on Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois' Line 10.

Bourscheid Castle (French: Château de Bourscheid, German: Burg Bourscheid, Luxembourgish: Buerg Buerschent) is located near the village of Bourscheid in north-eastern Luxembourg. The medieval castle stands on a site with archeological evidence of structures dating back to Roman times. Standing majestically some 150 metres (490 ft) above the River Sûre, it is enclosed by a circular wall with 11 watchtowers.

Burden (Luxembourgish: Bierden [ˈbiːɐ̯dən], German: Bürden [ˈbʏʁdn̩] ) is a village in the commune of Erpeldange, in northern Luxembourg. The village has a population of 537, 545. Burden is accessible by car via Warken and Bourscheid. It is connected for unmotorized traffic to the N27 road with a Bailey bridge.

Lipperscheid (Luxembourgish: Lëpschent) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. In 2007 the village had a population of 190, which subsequently increased to 294 by 2019.

Welscheid (Luxembourgish: Welschent) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 145, which subsequently increased to 204. Welscheid is connected to the cycling path PC16 with a short serpentine road to Bourscheid.

Bourscheid (Luxembourgish: Buerschent [ˈbuːɐ̯ʃənt] ; German: Burscheid) is a commune and small town in north-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Diekirch, which is part of the district of Diekirch. As of 2005, the town of Bourscheid, which lies in the centre of the commune, had a population of 266, which subsequently increased to 466 by 2021. Other settlements within the commune include Goebelsmuhle, Lipperscheid, Michelau, Schlindermanderscheid, and Welscheid. Bourscheid Castle located close to the village is Luxembourg's largest and one of the most important medieval castles between the Meuse and the Rhine.

Gralingen (Luxembourgish: Grooljen) is a village in the commune of Putscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 132.

Erpeldange-sur-Sûre (Luxembourgish: Ierpeldeng op der Sauer [ˈiːɐ̯pəldeŋ op dɐ ˈzɑʊɐ], German: Erpeldingen an der Sauer [ˈɛʁpl̩dɪŋən ʔan deːɐ̯ ˈzaʊɐ]) is a commune and small town in north-eastern Luxembourg. It lies along the river Sûre, between Ettelbruck and Diekirch. It is part of the canton of Diekirch. As of 2001, the town of Erpeldange, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 818. Other towns within the commune include Burden and Ingeldorf Erpeldange-sur-Sûre was formed on 1 July 1850, when it was detached from the commune of Ettelbruck, along with the commune of Schieren. The law forming Erpeldange-sur-Sûre was passed on the 22 January 1850.Erpeldange Castle now houses the commune's administrative offices. It has a history dating from the 13th century.

Stade An Der Trell is a football stadium in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre, in central Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of FC 72 Erpeldange. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000.

Fridhaff is a hamlet in Diekirch, Luxembourg. In 2010 plans for a commercial and industrial zone, the ZANO (Zone d'activités économiques Nordstad), have begun.In the Hooldär forest east of Fridhaff are remnants of World War II foxholes, as well as a pedagogical honey centre.

Schlindermanderscheid (Luxembourgish: Schlënnermanescht) is a village in the commune of Bourscheid, in north-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village had a population of 165, which subsequently decreased to 137 by 2019. It has the longest town name in Luxembourg.
