Lycée Technique Josy Barthel

Stade François Trausch is a football stadium in Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of FC Mamer 32. The stadium has a capacity of 2,600.

Mamer Lycée railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Mamer Lycée, French: Gare de Mamer Lycée, German: Bahnhof Mamer Lycée) is a railway station in Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg. The station also serves the European School, Luxembourg II. In 2013 some parents at the school expressed concern with the speeds of some of the trains.The station is situated on Line 50, which connects Luxembourg City to the west of the country and the Belgian town of Arlon.

Kinneksbond is a cultural centre in Mamer in southern Luxembourg. Opened in October 2010, it houses a 480-seat auditorium with a stage and orchestra pit suitable for concerts, drama performances and shows. Designed by the architect Jim Clemes from Esch-sur-Alzette, the ultra-modern facility also contains dress rooms, a room for band rehearsals and a number of smaller rooms for music teaching. There is a spacious foyer with a cloakroom and bar.Located some 9 km (5.6 mi) west of Luxembourg City, it is home both to the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg and to the brass band Harmonie Mamer. It regularly hosts shows and musical productions, attracting audiences not only from the local area but from south-western Luxembourg and the border regions. In addition to its local cultural functions, the centre is also available for conferences and business meetings.

Mamer Castle (Luxembourgish: Mamer Schlass, French: Château de Mamer, German: Mamer Schloss) is the town hall for the commune of Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg. It is the home of the communal council, the site of local government offices, and the centre of administration for communal services. It is located on Place de l'Indépendance near the centre of the town. It is made up of four buildings, set in recently landscaped surroundings. At the main entrance, there is a sculpture of Nicolas Frantz, two-time Tour de France winner, and Josy Barthel, Luxembourg's only Olympic gold medallist, both of whom were born in Mamer.

Mamer (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈmaːmɐ] ) is a commune and town (strictly classified as a village) in south-western Luxembourg. It is located 7 km (4.3 mi) west of Luxembourg City. The commune includes both Mamer itself and the smaller communities of Capellen and Holzem. Mamer is situated on the river Mamer, a tributary of the Alzette. The A6 motorway from Luxembourg to Brussels, also designated European route E25, runs through Mamer. As of 2014, Mamer, which lies in the east of the commune, has a population of 8,173. The town is the thirteenth-largest in Luxembourg. The commune as a whole is the fourteenth-most populous in the country.

It is a station close to both the European School of Luxembourg II, but also Lycée Technique Josy Barthel. It is therefore busy with students in the mornings.

La Belle Etoile is a shopping mall in Bertrange, in south-western Luxembourg. It is owned by Cactus, Luxembourg's largest retailer and third-largest employer.It is located on the route d'Arlon (N6), 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) to the west of Luxembourg City, next to the village of Tossenberg. The centre is home to 65 stores, making it Luxembourg's largest shopping centre. The anchor store of the complex is a Cactus hypermarket. Other well-known tenants include Benetton, The Body Shop, C&A, and H&M. The centre has parking for 3,000 cars.

Schauwenburg Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Schauwebuerg; French: Château Schauenburg) in Bertrange in south-western Luxembourg has a history dating back to the Middle Ages when, according to historical references from the early 13th century, the Lords of Bertrange occupied a fortified castle. Today's building originated in the 16th century as testified by the Renaissance windows on the eastern and northern wings, the façade being completed in 1710. Around 1780, the d'Huart family who lived in the castle found the facilities too small and constructed a larger building, the Château de Colnet d'Huart, in the vicinity. Over the year, the Schauwenburg Castle has had many different owners and has been used for a variety of purposes. Since 2008, it has temporarily housed the Commune's administrative offices and served as the town hall.

Bertrange (French pronunciation: [bɛʁtʁɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Bartreng [ˈbɑχtʀeŋ] ; German: Bartringen [baʁtʁɪŋən]) is a commune and town in south-western Luxembourg. It is located 6.5 km west of Luxembourg City. As of 2023, the town of Bertrange, which lies in the north-east of the commune, has a population of 8,661, of which just over half are Luxembourgers. People of over 102 different nationalities live in the commune. To the north of the town of Bertrange, on the other side of the route d'Arlon, is the village of Tossenberg, next to which is Luxembourg's largest shopping centre, La Belle Etoile.

The station is situated on Line 50, which connects Luxembourg City to the west of the country and the Belgian town of Arlon.

Capellen is a canton in southwestern Luxembourg. Its capital is Capellen (in the commune of Mamer).

Ascension is the name of two sculptures created in 1978 and 1986 by Luxembourgish sculptor Lucien Wercollier.
