Deelen Air Base (Dutch: Luchtmachtbasis Deelen or Vliegbasis Deelen) is a military air base in the Netherlands in the province of Gelderland. Though once an active air base, it is now mostly used as a helicopter training site. Being one of the oldest airports in the Netherlands, many buildings on the airfield are now listed as monuments.

Terlet Airfield (Dutch: Vliegveld Terlet) (ICAO: EHTL) is a small airfield in the Netherlands 2.5 NM (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) north of Arnhem in Gelderland and close to Deelen Air Base. It is used mainly by gliders and motor gliders, as well as some light aircraft such as the Aviat Husky, mainly used as tugs for the gliders. It has six grass winchtracks, 04L/22R, 04C/22C, 04R/22L, 12/30, 14R/32L and 14L/32R. Motorised aircraft are allowed to operate from one strip only and only when prior permission is obtained. The field was founded in 1952 by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging voor Luchtvaart (Royal Dutch Foundation for Aviation) to promote glider flying, though glider flying has taken place from the area since 1932. It is now home to the largest glider flying association in the Netherlands. Active gliding clubs on Terlet are: Zweefvliegclub Rotterdam, Zweefvliegclub Deelen, Gelderse Zweefvlieg Club, Delftse Studenten Aeroclub, Gliding Adventures Europe, Kennemer Zweefvlieg Club, the EZZC, ZHVC and Zweefvliegclub Ameland.

Gelderland (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣɛldərlɑnt] ), also known as Guelders () in English, is a province of the Netherlands, occupying the centre-east of the country. With a total area of 5,136 km2 (1,983 sq mi) of which 173 km2 (67 sq mi) is water, it is the largest province of the Netherlands by land area, and second by total area. It contains the Netherlands's largest forest region (the Veluwe), the Rhine and other major rivers, and a significant amount of orchards in the south (Betuwe).

Mijn Genoegen (English: My Pleasure) is a paltrok mill in the Netherlands Open Air Museum in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands which has been restored to working order. As are all Dutch paltrok mills, it is a wind-powered sawmill.

A hollow post mill at the Netherlands Open Air Museum, Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands was originally built at Gouda, South Holland, Netherlands. It was dismantled in 1946 and re-erected at the museum. The mill has been restored to working order.

Royal Burgers' Zoo (Dutch: Koninklijke Burgers' Zoo) is a 45-hectare (110-acre) zoo in Arnhem, Netherlands, and is one of the biggest zoos in the country. Arnhem is a city that lies within the Veluwe, a nature park in the east of the Netherlands. The zoo is popular with both Dutch and German people, and receives about 1 million visitors annually. It was founded by Johan Burgers in 1913. The zoo is a member of the Dutch Zoo Federation (NVD), the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), the International Species Information System (ISIS), and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).

It focuses on the culture associated with the everyday lives of ordinary people, and demonstrating the old way of life in the Netherlands. The park was established on 24 April 1912, and opened to the public in July 1918.

During World War I, it was moved to Langweer, Friesland. It was dismantled in 1960 and re-erected at the museum in 1989. The mill has been restored to working order.

De Kroon (English: The Crown) or the Klarendalse Molen is a tower mill in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands which was built in 1870 and is in working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument.
