The Jauer is a river of Saxony, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Schwarze Elster, which it joins near Kamenz.

Panschwitz-Kuckau (German) or Pančicy-Kukow (Upper Sorbian, pronounced [ˈpantʃitsɨ ˈkukɔf]) is a municipality in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. It is the site of the well-known monastery Sankt Marienstern. The place is located at both sides of the Klosterwasser stream. The municipality is part of the recognized Sorbian settlement area in Saxony. Upper Sorbian has an official status next to German, all villages bear names in both languages. In 2001, half of the population spoke Sorbian.Due to the local Sorbian dominance the population is mainly Catholic.

Wiesa (Upper Sorbian: Brěznja, pronounced [ˈbʁʲɪznʲa]) is a locality in the town of Kamenz, Saxony. It is located in the southern part of town, south of the town centre, on the Black Elster in the district of Bautzen. It is a part of the officially recognized Sorbian settlement area.

Elstra (German: [ˈɛlstʁaː] ) or Halštrow (Upper Sorbian, pronounced [ˈhalʃtʁɔf]) is a town in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Schwarze Elster, 6 kilometres southeast of Kamenz, and 34 kilometres northeast of Dresden. The name "Elstra" stems from the river Schwarze Elster, which rises in the district Kindisch. The city has only about 2,000 citizens and is one of the smallest cities in Germany. The whole municipality has 2,807 citizens (in 2016). It is part of the officially recognized Sorbian settlement area. Due to the town name's similarity to the word "Elster" (German for magpie), magpies are often used in the town's self-identity.

The Satkula is a small stream of Saxony, Germany. The source of the Satkula is located in the village Kleinhänchen, municipality of Burkau/Porchow, Lusatia, Germany, in the Lusatian Highlands (Lausitzer Bergland). It is a right tributary of the Klosterwasser, which it joins near Räckelwitz. Satkula is a symbolic river for Sorbs in Lusatia.

Kamenz (German: [ˈkaːmɛnts] ) or Kamjenc (Sorbian, pronounced [ˈkamʲɛnts]) is a town (Große Kreisstadt) in the district of Bautzen in Saxony, Germany. Until 2008 it was the administrative seat of Kamenz District. The town is known as the birthplace of the philosopher and poet Gotthold Ephraim Lessing and Bruno Hauptmann, convicted kidnapper of the Lindbergh baby. It lies north-east of the major city of Dresden.

Kamenz (Sorbian languages: Kamjenc, pronounced [ˈkamʲɛnts]) was a Kreis (district) in the north-east of Saxony, Germany. Neighboring districts were (from north clockwise) Oberspreewald-Lausitz, Spree-Neiße, Niederschlesischer Oberlausitzkreis, Bautzen - Budyšin, Sächsische Schweiz, the district-free city Dresden - Drježdźany, and the districts Meißen and Riesa-Großenhain. The district-free city Hoyerswerda was surrounded by the district.

Räckelwitz (German) or Worklecy (Sorbian, pronounced [ˈwɔʁklɛtsɨ]) is a municipality in Bautzen district, in the state of Saxony, Germany. The municipality of Räckelwitz has a population of 1,111 (2020) and is a member of the municipal association "Am Klosterwasser" (Zarjadniski zwjazk „Při Klóšterskej wodźe“). The municipality is in Upper Lusatia, and is part of the central area of Sorbian settlement. In 2001, 61.9% of people living in the municipality could speak Upper Sorbian.Räckelwitz is also the name of the largest village in the municipality. The village has a population of 506. Räckelwitz is the birthplace of the well-known Sorbian author Jurij Brězan. The former prime minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich was born in Neudörfel/Nowa Wjeska.

Kamenz (Sachs) station (German: Bahnhof Kamenz (Sachs)) is a railway station in Kamenz, Germany. The station is located on the Lübbenau–Kamenz and Kamenz–Pirna lines. It is operated by DB Station&Service.

Ralbitz-Rosenthal (German) or Ralbicy-Róžant (Upper Sorbian, pronounced [ˈʁalbʲitsɨ ˈʁʊʒant]) is a municipality in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. Rosenthal is a well known pilgrimage site, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and administered by the Order of Cistercians. The municipality belongs to Upper Lusatia and is located in the central settlement area of the Sorbs. It consists of following villages (names given in German/Upper Sorbian, followed by the number of inhabitants): Cunnewitz/Konjecy, 268 inh. Gränze/Hrajnca, 54 inh. Laske/Łask, 85 inh. Naußlitz/Nowoslicy, 121 inh. Neu-Schmerlitz/Nowa Smjerdźaca, 1 inh. Ralbitz/Ralbicy, 333 inh. Rosenthal/Róžant, 265 inh. Schmerlitz/Smjerdźaca, 182 inh. Schönau/Šunow, 308 inh. Zerna/Sernjany, 191 inh.In 2001, 84.3 per cent of the population spoke Upper Sorbian.

Delany (Sorbian for "lowland") is the usual name for the low-lying, larger part of the former estate of St. Marienstern Abbey in Panschwitz-Kuckau in German Lusatia. The region is in the centre of Bautzen district along the River Klosterwasser in Upper Lusatia. It lies between the villages of Räckelwitz (Worklecy) to the south and Wittichenau (Kulow) to the north and is part of the heart of the present-day Sorbian language region. Unlike Oberland around Crostwitz and Panschwitz the Niederland has sandier, less fertile soils and a larger proportion of woodland.Other villages in the Niederland are Ralbitz, Rosenthal, Schönau and Sollschwitz. From the 16th to the 19th century, all the aforementioned villages fell within the territory of Marienstern Abbey and are thus still Roman Catholic today.

Burkau (German) or Porchow (Sorbian, pronounced [ˈpɔʁxɔf]) is a municipality in the east of Saxony, in the district of Bautzen in Germany.
