Gautier, Mississippi

Shepard State Park is a public recreation area located off U.S. Highway 90 on the south side of the city of Gautier, Mississippi. The city has had responsibility for the state park's management since 2013.

The transmitter is on Radio Road in Ocean Springs.

Hickory Hill is a neighborhood in the city of Gautier in Jackson County, Mississippi, United States. Prior to 2010 it was an unincorporated area and recorded as a census-designated place, with a population of 3,046 at the 2000 census. At the 2010 census its population was included in the data for the city of Gautier. It is part of the Pascagoula Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Ocean Springs High School is an IB-certified public high school in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The school serves students in grades 9–12 and is part of the Ocean Springs School District. In addition to Ocean Springs it serves Gulf Park Estates and a portion of Gautier.

Naval Station Pascagoula (NAVSTA Pascagoula) was a base of the United States Navy, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The base officially closed 15 November 2006. The base's property, on Singing River Island in the Mississippi Sound at the mouth of the Pascagoula River, was formally transferred to the Mississippi Secretary of State's office 9 July 2007.

Jackson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2020 census, the population was 143,252, making it the fifth-most populous county in Mississippi. Its county seat is Pascagoula. The county was named for Andrew Jackson, general in the United States Army and afterward President of the United States.Jackson County is included in the Pascagoula, MS Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is located at the southeastern tip of the state. The county has sandy soil and is in the Piney Woods area. It borders the state of Alabama on its east side. The county was severely damaged by both Hurricane Camille in August 1969 and Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005, which caused catastrophic effects.

The Pascagoula River High Rise Bridge is a bridge in the U.S. state of Mississippi which carries U.S. Route 90 over the East Branch of the Pascagoula River between Gautier and Pascagoula. The bridge opened on June 23, 2003 as a replacement for 4-lane drawbridge. Senator Trent Lott and state Highway Commissioner Wayne Brown were the first people to ride across the bridge.

The East Pascagoula River Light was a lighthouse in Pascagoula, Mississippi. A house with a lantern on top, it was first lit in 1854 but was extinguished in the Civil War and was not relit until 1868. It was destroyed in the 1906 Mississippi hurricane and was never rebuilt.

Resurrection High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Pascagoula, Mississippi. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi.

Pascagoula station is a closed intercity train station in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States. It originally the served the Louisville and Nashville Railroad but was most recently a stop for Amtrak. The station is on the National Register of Historic Places as the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Depot, and was designated a Mississippi Landmark by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. In addition, the station serves as an art gallery owned by the Singing River Art Association.
