Adelaide Gaol

Bonython Park is a 17-hectare park in the north-west Park Lands of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. The park was opened in 1962 and named in honour of prominent South Australian politician and journalist, Sir John Langdon Bonython. It is situated on north-western side of the River Torrens, bordered by Port Road. It is on the opposite side of the river to a golf course, and adjacent to the old Adelaide Gaol and the Police Barracks. Bonython Park forms part of what is known as Park 27, and since the dual naming initiative by Adelaide City Council in the early 2000s, Park 27 is also known as Tulya Wardli. There are sites straddling this park and Park 1/ Pirltawardli of some significance to the Kaurna people, since various "native locations" were established on the sites dating from 1837, when the first settlers arrived and the establishment of a Christian mission in the following year.

North Terrace is one of the four terraces that bound the central business and residential district of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. It runs east–west, along the northern edge of "the square mile". The western end continues on to Port Road, and the eastern end continues across the Adelaide Parklands as Botanic Road.

Karen Rolton Oval is a cricket ground in Adelaide, South Australia, named after the former Australian cricketer Karen Rolton. It is located near the corner of West Terrace and Port Road, opposite the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, in the eastern end of Park 25 of the Adelaide Park Lands.The venue hosted a Women's One Day International (WODI) match between Australia and New Zealand on 24 February 2019. It hosted its first first-class match from 20 to 23 March 2019, when South Australia played Victoria in the final round of the 2018–19 Sheffield Shield season.

SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) is an independent, not-for-profit health and medical research institute in Adelaide, South Australia. The institute is housed in a purpose-built eponymous building with its iconic "cheesegrater" design created by architects Woods Bagot. SAHMRI is located adjacent to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in the heart of Adelaide BioMed City - South Australia's health and biomedical precinct on North Terrace. The institute is composed of approximately 700 researchers, many of whom have links to, and work collaboratively with, universities and other research institutes in Australia and overseas. The institute was officially incorporated in December 2009, and opened in its current location on 29 November 2013. A second building (SAHMRI 2) is under construction as of July 2020, and will house the Australian Bragg Centre for Proton Therapy & Research after its completion.

Torrens Bridge railway station was a short-lived railway station on the Outer Harbor line in North Adelaide. The location of the station was east of Bonython Park. It was located about 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) from Adelaide station. The station was opened in 1883 as the result of a petition from a pressure group on behalf of residents of North Adelaide. Facilities consisted of two side platforms, buildings on both platforms and a footbridge between them. As its name suggests, the station was located just north of the railway bridge that crossed the River Torrens. Before the station closed, it was the closest station to Adelaide station, but Mile End is now the closest. The station was closed in 1888 and demolished shortly after. It was the first railway station to close in South Australia. The buildings and footbridge were relocated to the newly opened Croydon station. No trace remains of where the station was located, but the pedestrian crossing close to where the North and Port Lines part way is close to the location of the station.

Riverside Rowing Club Incorporated (RRC) is a non profit association located in South Australia. RRC has a strong Masters Rowing focus (27 years and over) and actively supports senior and school rowing. RRC competitive rowers race in local Rowing SA regattas, Rowing Australia Regattas, and World Masters Games. and International Rowing Federation(FISA) regattas held around the globe. Annually a number of crews compete in Head Races including the Head of the Yarra in Melbourne Victoria. The club's membership includes recreational (non-competitive) rowers and regularly holds "Learn to Row" programs throughout the year.

The Ice Arena (stylised as IceArenA) is an ice sports and public skate centre, opened on 17 September 1981 and located in Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia. The Ice Arena is South Australia's premier ice skating facility located just minutes from the Adelaide CBD. The centre is the home of the Ice Factor Foundation Inc and the ice sports associations (SAISA, IHSA and BASA), and their respective clubs including Adelaide Adrenaline (AIHL), Adelaide Rush (AWIHL) and Adelaide Generals (AJIHL).

The Samstag Museum of Art, also known as the Samstag Museum, was opened in October 2007 as the Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, in the Hawke Building of the CityWest campus of the University of South Australia (UniSA). The museum is named in honour of Anne & Gordon Samstag, "two distinguished American benefactors to Australian culture, whose remarkable bequest provides opportunities for Australian artists to study overseas." The gallery had existed in previous incarnations from about 1977, with several names and locations over the next 30 years. In 1991, with the establishment of the University of South Australia, the gallery was renamed the University of South Australia Art Museum, relocating to City West in 1998.

Adelaide High School is a coeducational state high school situated on the corner of West Terrace and Glover Avenue in the Adelaide Parklands. It was the first government high school in South Australia. It currently has an enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.

Sunrise Christian School is a Pentecostal school located across five campuses in South Australia. It is a member of the Adelaide Christian Schools group of schools. The group comprises Sunrise, Temple Christian College, Sunrise Christian School, Whyalla and Sunrise Bethel Christian School in Port Moresby, PNG. The original campus is located in Fullarton and this location still hosts a campus which serves as the emotional "home" of the Sunrise network. The school was started in 1978 with approximately 30 students. In the years since it has grown to five campuses comprising 1000+ students. The Marion Campus is the only current Sunrise campus which goes through to year 12.

City Sk8 Park was a skate-boarding facility situated in Park 27 of the Adelaide Park Lands on North Terrace, in Adelaide, South Australia. It was located next to the railway tracks and the Morphett Street Bridge. Skaters could use the facility day and night as the park was equipped with lighting and camera surveillance. The Park had sheltered seating and featured a range of vertical drops, half bowls, steps, blocks, ramps and slopes. The facility was highly visible to passers-by, helping to ensure the safety of skaters. Dogs on leads were allowed, but not in the skate park itself for their own safety. This facility was demolished during late 2015, despite a local campaign to save it, in preparation for the relocation of Adelaide's Bio-medical precinct from the east end to the west end of North Terrace.

The South Australian School of Design was an art school in the earliest days of the City of Adelaide, the progenitor of the South Australian School of Arts, a department of the University of South Australia.
