Rockville is a city in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,448 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Clark and McCormack Quarry and House consists of a historic quarry and the adjacent residential estate of one of the owners in Rockville, Minnesota, United States. The Clark and McCormack Quarry was established in 1907, and was the source of Rockville Pink granite. The John Clark House was built in 1924 with granite from the quarry. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for its local significance in the theme of industry. It was nominated for being one of Minnesota's major producers of structural granite and the best representative of eastern Stearns County's important granite quarrying industry.

Marty is an unincorporated community in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. The community is located near the junction of Stearns County Roads 8 and 48. Nearby places include Kimball and Rockville. County Road 141 is also in the immediate area. Centered less than a mile from Pearl Lake, Marty is home to a lodge bearing the same name, Lund's Lakeside resort, at the junction of 8 and 141, The catholic school in the community closed down and is now used for events

Pleasant Lake was settled about 1890 and incorporated on July 11, 1938. On 1 June 2002, the city of Pleasant Lake and Rockville Township were merged into the city of Rockville.

Assumption Chapel, also known as the Grasshopper Chapel, is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church (German: Wahlfahrtsort) (German: Gnadenkapelle) situated upon a hill known locally as (German: Marienberg), meaning "Mary's Mountain", on the outskirts of Cold Spring, Minnesota, in a region of Minnesota largely settled in the 1850s by German-American Catholics who were attracted to the area by Fr. Francis Xavier Pierz. Although inspired by ancient traditions carried to America by local peasant-pioneers from Southern Germany, the chapel was constructed in 1877, as a desperate petition to the Blessed Virgin for relief from the Rocky Mountain locusts; a now extinct species of giant grasshopper, whose enormous migrating swarms blotted out the sunlight and devastated farming communities throughout North America between 1856 and 1902.
