California Coast University (CCU) is a private for-profit online university based in Santa Ana, California. It is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission and approved by the State of California. Approximately 8,000 students are enrolled at any given time.

Orange station, formally the Orange Transportation Center is an intermodal transit station in Orange, California. It serves Metrolink trains as well as Orange County Transportation Authority buses. The station is located at the site of two former Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway combination depots. The present depot structure was dedicated on May 1, 1938 and was closed with the Santa Fe's discontinuation of passenger service in 1971. The building was granted historic landmark status by the City on November 15, 1990.

The Discovery Cube Orange County, formerly known as the Discovery Science Center and the Taco Bell Discovery Science Center, is a science museum in Santa Ana, California, with more than 100 hands-on science exhibits designed to spark children's natural curiosity. Designed by the architect firm Arquitectonica with structural engineers Carl Johnson and Svend Nielsen, it has become a visual landmark due to its ten-story solar array cube that stands over Interstate 5.

The Hilbert Museum of California Art is a U.S. museum located at Chapman University in Orange, California. The museum's collection consists of more than 1,000 paintings – primarily watercolors and oil paintings by artists of the California Scene Painting movement.

Holy Family Catholic Church, located in Orange, California, United States, is a parish church in the Diocese of Orange. It served as the cathedral of that diocese, from the diocese's establishment in 1976, until Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, the former Crystal Cathedral, was dedicated on July 17, 2019. Because of this, Holy Family Cathedral changed its name to Holy Family Catholic Church. Holy Family Parish predates the establishment of the Diocese of Orange.

The Orange Crush interchange, frequently called The Crush, is a freeway interchange in the city of Orange, California, near the borders of the cities of Orange, Santa Ana, Anaheim, and Garden Grove. The Disneyland Resort, The Outlets at Orange, St. Joseph Hospital, Children's Hospital of Orange County, the UCI Medical Center, Westfield MainPlace, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Honda Center, Platinum Triangle and the Lamaroux Justice Center of the Superior Court of California of the County of Orange are all located at or near the interchange.This interchange of the Santa Ana (Interstate 5), Garden Grove (State Route 22), and Orange (State Route 57) freeways was listed in the 2002 Guinness World Records book as the most complex road interchange in the world. The name of the interchange, credited to KNX Radio traffic and weather reporter Bill Keene, is a play on the name of the Orange Crush soda.

Old Towne, Orange Historic District, also known as Downtown Orange, and colloquially The Circle is a one square-mile district around Plaza Park in Orange, California, and contains many of the original structures built in the period after the city's incorporation. It is a vibrant commercial district, containing Orange County's oldest operating bank. The Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, and is the largest National Register District in California. The Old Towne Preservation Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the district. According to State Historic Resource Surveys, Orange is unique among the region and the state in that it has the second largest concentration of historic buildings. The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), one of four community college districts located in Orange County, California, offers associate degrees and adult education certificates through its two colleges: Santa Ana College in Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon College in Orange. The RSCCD serves central and eastern Orange County, covering 24% of the county's total area (193 square miles) in the cities of Orange and Villa Park, as well as the community of Anaheim Hills and portions of the cities of Garden Grove, Irvine, Santa Ana, and Tustin. The RSCCD is governed by a Board of Trustees that is composed of seven trustees elected by the registered voters within the district's boundaries and one student member elected by the student body of Santa Ana College and Santiagao Canyon College. Trustees, with the exception of the student member, are elected to four-year terms commencing in December of the year elected. As terms are staggered, elections are held every two years in connection with the general election. The seven locally elected trustees must reside in three specific areas but are elected at-large. The current trustees and the areas that they were elected from are as follows: For 2020, Trustee Claudia C. Alvarez is serving as the Board President, Trustee Nelida Mendoza as the Board Vice President, and Trustee Phillip Yarbrough as the Board Clerk.
