Built in 1910, the two-story masonry structure in Classical Revival style is one of the oldest extant buildings in downtown Lockport as it survived the 1916 Lockport fire.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1995.

The Bank of Lockport, also known as the Gouaux Building, is a historic commercial building located at 111-113 Barataria Street in Lockport, Louisiana. Built in 1901 in Romanesque Revival style, the masonry building was originally constructed as a one-story structure, and was expanded with the addition of a second story, in the same style, in 1910. The Bank of Lockport failed at some point after 1910. A second bank, known as the Farmer's Bank and Trust Company, occupied the building until it also failed in 1930s. The building then hosted the Lockport post office until 1943, when the building was purchased by Gouaux family and was used as a law office by Eugene Gouaux.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1995.

It was one of the most productive sugarcane plantations in the parish in 1871–1872.The house was designed in the Creole and Greek Revival architectural styles. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 21, 1983.

The Delta Queen is an American sternwheel steamboat. She is known for cruising the major rivers that constitute the tributaries of the Mississippi River, particularly in the American South, although she began service in California on the Sacramento River delta for which she gets her name. She was docked in Chattanooga, Tennessee and served as a floating hotel until purchased by the newly formed Delta Queen Steamboat Company. She was towed to Houma, Louisiana, in March 2015 for refurbishing to her original condition.The Delta Queen is 285 feet (87 m) long, 58 feet (18 m) wide, and draws 11.5 feet (3.5 m). She weighs 1,650 tons (1,676 metric tons), with a capacity of 176 passengers. Her cross-compound steam engines generate 2,000 indicated horsepower (1,500 kW), powering a stern-mounted paddlewheel. Built in 1927, she is the last surviving steam-powered overnight passenger boat plying the watershed of the Mississippi. In 1989, she was designated a National Historic Landmark. Originally, she was built as an equal to her sister ship, the Delta King, which is currently moored in Sacramento.
