Klarenbeek

Klarenbeek is a railway station, located in Klarenbeek, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 June 1882 and is on the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway (Oosterspoorweg). The station is actually 2 km north-east of Klarenbeek. The station was originally only built because the line between Apeldoorn and Zutphen was single track, a passing point was needed, this was here. Until December 2006, the station had just 1 platform and one train each way per hour stopped at the station, allowing the other to pass. In December 2006, when 2 more new stations were built on the line, the station received 2 platforms. The train services are operated by Arriva.

Ter Horst Castle is a castle northeast of the village of Loenen, in the Dutch province of Gelderland, on the road to Klarenbeek. In 1557, the then mayor of Arnhem Wynant Hacfort had the castle built.

The Flevo Festival was an open air Christian music festival held each August in the Netherlands. The festival was first organized as the Kamperland Festival in 1978 by the Dutch arm of Youth for Christ and became a private foundation in 2002. The last event was held in 2012; one month later, the organization decided to stop gatherings because the quantity of visitors was decreasing: For example, in 2012 the number of people attending the festival was 6,000, whereas in 2011 that number was 9,500 people. In its heyday, the festival attracted approximately 10,000 to 20,000 people each year. It highlighted all musical styles, but especially rock, and was considered by some to be the most important European Christian festival. Previous headline bands have included Stryper, dc Talk, Jars of Clay, Sixpence None the Richer, Bride, Audio Adrenaline, SONICFLOOd, Switchfoot and Five Iron Frenzy. In 2013 a group of former volunteers from Flevo Festival organised a festival in line with the 35 years of history of Flevo, naming it Flavor Festival.

Eerbeek is a town in the municipality of Brummen in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. Eerbeek was first mentioned in 1046 as Erbeke. In the 18th century, Eerbeek became a centre of paper production. Due to its proximity to the Veluwezoom National Park, Eerbeek is popular with tourists.

Loenen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Apeldoorn, about 10 km southeast of that city. Loenen was a separate municipality until 1818, when it was merged with Apeldoorn.

Lieren is a village in the Netherlands and part of the municipality of Apeldoorn. It is situated about 8 km ( 5 miles) south-east of the city centre of Apeldoorn and 2 km east of Beekbergen. Despite its size, Lieren has a primary school, a bakery and a few DIY-stores. Most of its income come from tourism, with the Veluwe close at hand and multiple camping sites nearby. Also, a steam-train station belonging to the VSM attracts many tourists. Once in every 3 years, the Uutbuurt takes place in Lieren. This is an event at which almost the whole village is present. At this event local bands and artists perform.

Appen is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Voorst, about 0.5 km southwest of Gietelo, to which it belongs.It was first mentioned in 1299 as Appenses. The etymology is unknown. The postal authorities have placed it under Voorst. In 1840, it was home to 808 people. Nowadays, it consists of about 20 houses.

Teuge is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland, between Apeldoorn and Deventer. It is part of the municipality of Voorst. Its population is around 800 people and it is best known for being the location of Teuge International Airport. The main access road is the N344. Since 2001, Ecotribe Teuge is a squatted former barracks.

Empe is a village in the municipality of Brummen in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. Empe is located on the Apeldoorn-Zutphen railway, 4 km west of Zutphen. The NS railway station Voorst-Empe was reopened on 10 December 2006. The castle Huis Empe, built around 1550 lies on the edge of the village.

Bussloo is a village in the municipality of Voorst in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. On the beach De Kuiter, on the South Western side of the lake, nudist recreation is permitted.It was first mentioned in 1390 as ten Loe, and means forest. In 1818, a church is built on the estate of the Baron of Wijnbergen. The ruins of Castle Bussloo are near the church. Bussloo consists of about 55 houses.
