Weybourne is a small village in Surrey, England. It lies on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey and borders onto Aldershot, Hampshire.

Hale is a village in Surrey, England or part of Farnham, towards Aldershot excluding the area between the two to the east which is Badshot Lea, and without formal definition in part overlaps Weybourne and Heath End, Surrey. The history of Farnham being a vast town parish (over many square miles) in the late medieval age means all three small places overlapping, which are difficult to class as villages, for example Farnham Youth football club is in two possible alternates, or within greater Farnham as its name suggests, and some maps give Lower Hale and Upper Hale but the area between is indistinct and all of the village is quite elevated so this extremely fine distinction unless referring to an extreme end is deprecated. The electoral ward Farnham Upper Hale has a population of 4,241. Often the eastern built-up (low-rise) area, Weybourne is considered separately but both localities share all amenities and form a neatly buffered settlement.

Weybourne LNR is a 2.4-hectare (5.9-acre) Local Nature Reserve on the southern outskirts of Weybourne in Surrey. It is owned and managed by Waverley Borough Council.This site has a variety of habitats, including woodland, grassland, fen and scrub.There is access from Weybourne Road.

Heath End is a village in the Waverley district of Surrey, England, traditionally part of the large town parish of Farnham. Heath End is smaller in area than most villages and does not have an Anglican church so does not meet the older criteria for villages in England. It is between Farnham and Aldershot. To the north homes directly adjoin an upland in Hampshire which is a military training area.

The Blackwater Valley Path follows the River Blackwater from its source in the Rowhill Nature Reserve in Aldershot to just beyond the point where it joins the River Whitewater near Swallowfield to become the Broadwater. This long-distance route covers 23 miles (37 km) and closely follows the River Blackwater using public rights-of-way as well as permissive footpaths and is waymarked. It is looked after by the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership.The Surrey Heath section includes informal parks on reclaimed land at Blackwater Park and Watchmoor.

Rowhill Nature Reserve or Rowhill Copse is a 26.6-hectare (66-acre) Local Nature Reserve (LNR) which straddles the border between Aldershot in Hampshire and Farnham in Surrey. It is owned by Rushmoor Borough Council, was declared an LNR by Waverley Borough Council and is managed by Rowhill Nature Reserve Society.This site is mainly coppiced woodland with hazel and sweet chestnut. There are also ponds, a stream, heath and marshland. It is the source of the River Blackwater.Access points include Cranmore Lane.

Farnham Park is a 131-hectare (320-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Farnham in Surrey. It is owned and managed by Waverley Borough Council.This medieval deer park has an avenue of trees which is over a kilometer long. Originally the trees were mature elms, but these succumbed to the Dutch elm disease in the early 1970s and were replaced with lime and beech. There is grassland, woodland, ponds and streams.

Badshot Lea Long Barrow, also known as Farnham Long Barrow, was an unchambered long barrow located near the village of Badshot Lea in the south-eastern English county of Surrey. It was probably constructed in the fourth millennium BCE, during Britain's Early Neolithic period. Archaeologists have established that the monument was built by pastoralist communities shortly after the introduction of agriculture to Britain from continental Europe. Although representing part of an architectural tradition of long barrow building that was widespread across Neolithic Europe, the Badshot Lea Long Barrow is the only known example in Surrey. The nearest examples are the Medway Megaliths, clustered around the River Medway in Kent, and the long barrows of Sussex. Built out of earth, the long barrow consisted of a tumulus flanked by side ditches. A timber post was embedded into the eastern end of the mound. By the mid-1930s, chalk quarrying adjacent to the long barrow had destroyed much of its southern side. In 1936, local resident W. F. Rankine discovered ox bones and stone arrow-heads in the vicinity of the site. An excavation was launched under the directorship of Alexander Keiller and Stuart Piggott, who sought to investigate the remains of the long barrow before it was destroyed by further quarrying.

Upper Hale Cemetery (also known as Hale Cemetery) is the burial ground for the district of Hale in Farnham in Surrey. Hale grew rapidly after 1854 when the British Army became established in nearby Aldershot in Hampshire. At this time many people came to the area seeking employment in building Aldershot and the military barracks. As the cottages spread, those nearer to Aldershot formed a separate village, which became known as Heath End. As more homes were built and the local population expanded it soon became obvious that a new burial ground at Hale was needed as the churchyard at St John the Evangelist Church in Hale gradually began to fill. Locals could also be buried at the new cemetery at West Street Cemetery in town, also known as Farnham Cemetery, and at Badshot Lea Cemetery. However, Farnham Burial Board advised St John the Evangelist church in Hale to apply for Common land from the War Office. Funds to purchase the land for a new cemetery and to build the two small chapels came from the Hale Poor rates and in 1872 the War Office provided 2 acres (0.81 ha) of land as a burial ground for the people of Upper Hale. The church of St Mark the Evangelist was built opposite the cemetery in 1883. It took 8 months to convert the rough land into ground suitable for a cemetery and to build the two chapels in addition to walling the area and marking out the land. Upper Hale Cemetery was consecrated by Samuel Wilberforce, the Bishop of Winchester on 1 November 1872 and the first burial took place two weeks later on 27 November 1872. The two small chapels in the cemetery are now derelict with large areas of each roof badly damaged and exposed to the elements. They are currently (2020) in the process of being renovated by Farnham Town Council with the addition of a link extension to join the two buildings together to create a single building. The chapels cannot be used for residential homes and a community use for them is being discussed.Upper Hale Cemetery has 20 burials from the two World Wars – 16 from World War I and 4 from World War II with their distinctive Commonwealth War Graves Commission headstones. Among the WWII burials is Pte. Maud Rose Payne (1925–1945) of the Auxiliary Territorial Service who was from Farnham.
