Ardler is an area in the north-west of Dundee, Scotland, built on land previously owned by Downfield Golf Club. The housing scheme was completed in the late 1960s and originally included six 17-storey multi-storey blocks that formed the northern part of the scheme. These were demolished between 1993 and 2007 as part of a major programme of regeneration due to finish in 2011.

Baldragon railway station served the village of Baldragon in the Scottish county of Angus. Services were provided by the Dundee and Newtyle Railway.

Boasting a seating capacity of 2,400, it ranks as the fourth largest ice rink in Scotland, surpassed only by Braehead Arena, Murrayfield Ice Rink, and Fife Ice Arena. The arena is a hub for various events, prominently hosting Dundee Stars' hockey matches, as well as figure skating contests. It also gained distinction as the inaugural Scottish venue for the 7th WUKF World Karate Championships.

Lawside Academy was a Roman Catholic secondary school in Dundee, Scotland. It was the northernmost state Catholic school in Europe. Lawside closed in June 2008, 101 years after it opened. The school's successor is St Paul's Academy.

Dryburgh is the name of a district of Dundee, Scotland, home to The View. The band featured locations throughout the area in their video for their 2006 track Superstar Tradesman. The Dryburgh estate has been used for the band's 2007 videos for Skag Trendy and The Don. These videos also feature areas of Lochee near Dryburgh, in particular 'Davies' cafe in Lochee high street. Dryburgh is home to one of Dundee's longest running boys football clubs "Dryburgh Athletic" The local store is nicknamed 'Chiefs' and is right next door to the 'Yummy Yummy' Chinese Takeaway.

Balgowan is an area of Dundee, Scotland. The name derives from the Scottish Gaelic Baile Ghobhainn, meaning "blacksmith's stead" (cf also Govan in Glasgow from the same Celtic root).

Lochee United Football Club are a Scottish football club based in the Lochee area of Dundee. Formed in 1892, they currently compete in the SJFA Midlands League and play their home games at Thomson Park.

Strathmartine is an area of Angus, Scotland (named after a local mythical hero, Strathmartin The Dragonslayer). It is to the north of Dundee and the surrounding district is often referred to as "the Howe o Strathmartine". The parishes of Mains and Strathmartine were united on 21 Nov 1792. Anciently, Mains was called Earl's Strathdichty, Strathmartine was called Strathdichty Martin. The Dichty Water flows through the parishes.William Lorimer, the classicist, known for producing a translation of the New Testament in Lowland Scots was born in Strathmartine. Baldovan village to the north was once the home to Strathmartine Hospital which was a long stay hospital for people with severe learning disabilities.

Lochee () is an area in the west of Dundee, Scotland. Until the 19th century, it was a separate town, but was eventually surrounded by the expanding Dundee. It is notable for being home to Camperdown Works, which was the largest jute production site in the world.
