Divine Child High School, commonly known as Divine Child (DC), is a private, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory, parochical high school in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. Divine Child is a highly ranked private high school in Michigan, scoring in the top 15 percent of private schools in the State. Notably, it is the seventh-largest private high school, and the largest co-educational Catholic high school in the State.The school is located on a 20-acre campus that includes a new athletic complex and fitness center, which was financed through an ongoing capital campaign that has raised five million in capital to date.

St. Hedwig Cemetery is a Catholic cemetery and mausoleum located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States. It was founded in 1924, and is operated by the Conventual Franciscans of Saint Bonaventure Province. Spanning some 70 acres (280,000 m2) of land, it is landscaped and adorned with numerous monuments, as well as a large mausoleum. It is named for Saint Hedwig of Andechs. Though the metropolitan Detroit area has historically had a large number of persons of Polish heritage, the cemetery was not named for Jadwiga of Poland, the Queen of Poland who was canonized a saint in 1997.

Crestwood High School or CHS is a public, magnet high school in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. It was founded in 1960 and is located on Beech Daly Road between Ford Road and Cherry Hill Road. It is a part of the Crestwood School District.

Dearborn Center for Math, Science and Technology (DCMST) is a specialized secondary education center with a four-year advanced, research based, science and math curriculum located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The school was founded in 2001, with its first graduating class in 2005. Most of the school is located in the Henry Ford Community College building, but some of the Michael Berry Career Center (MBCC) building is also used by DCMST. About 75 students are selected each year from the three high schools in the Dearborn City School District. Once in the program, students are committed for four years. In freshman and sophomore year, students attend their three classes at DCMST in the afternoon from 11:15 to 1:55. Juniors and seniors attend in the morning from 7:35 to 10:15. The other three hours are spent at student's home school. DCMST is a member of the NCSSSMST, an alliance of specialized high schools in the United States whose focus is advanced preparatory studies in mathematics, science and technology. The school is also accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) as all other Dearborn Public Schools are.

Parkland is a neighborhood located in the far western section of Detroit, Michigan. The neighborhood is often thought to be part of the neighboring Warrendale neighborhood, which it borders to the east. Parkland is roughly bounded by West Warren Avenue, Ann Arbor Trail, West Parkway Street, and Parkland Street. West Warren Avenue is the neighborhood's only commercial district, while the rest of the neighborhood consists mainly of single-family homes. Parkland was annexed by the city of Detroit in the 1920s. Along with the Parkland neighborhood the city also annexed additional land directly to the east, which was turned into Rouge Park (the city's largest inland park at 2 square miles (5 km2)). The majority of the homes in Parkland were built between the 1920s and the 1950s. Bungalow-style homes are the neighborhood's most prominent architectural style, followed by colonial-style and single-story homes. With a white population of 65 percent Parkland is one of Detroit's few white majority neighborhoods.

Dearborn High School (DHS) is a public high school located in Dearborn, Michigan. It was founded in 1893 in Dearborn near Metro Detroit. Dearborn High is one of the three high schools of the Dearborn City School District and is located at 19501 Outer Drive. There are over 2,000 students currently attending Dearborn High. Its attendance boundary includes sections of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.

Dearborn Hills is a golf course built in 1922–23 by the late Robert Herndon, a prominent local developer and benefactor. It is reputed to be Michigan's oldest public golf course and is listed in the State Register of Historic Sites. In the summer of 1991 it closed to undergo a nearly $5 million renovation and expansion. The resulting new course was named "Michigan's Best Public Golf Course" by Detroit News readers and awarded 3½ stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places To Play".

Michigan's 17th congressional district is an obsolete United States congressional district in Michigan. The first Representative to Congress elected from the 17th district, George Anthony Dondero, took office in 1933, after reapportionment due to the 1930 census. The district was dissolved following the 1990 census. The last Representative elected from the district, Sander M. Levin, was subsequently elected from the 12th district. From 1982 until the districts demise it included all of Detroit west of the Southfield Freeway, Redford Township, Dearborn Heights, Southfield, Lathrup Village, Oak Park, Berkley, Royal Oak Township, Pleasant Ridge, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Huntington Woods and Clawson.

Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center is a global automotive chain that provides oil changes, tire rotation, multi-point inspections and other express services. Currently headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, Quick Lane is owned by Ford Motor Company, there are 825 locations as of February 2018. Some stores are stand-alone operations or some are attached to the dealership. Quick Lane is designed for dealers to pick up additional work to replace deceased warranty work. Quick Lane offers routine vehicle auto services including oil and filter changes, light repair services such as brake repairs and tire replacement.

Clara B. Ford Academy is a charter school located in the city of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The school is located at 20651 West Warren Avenue. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd ran a Detroit area outreach program for young women and in the 1930s began fundraising with the Salvation Army for a large campus. The automaker Henry Ford and his wife, Clara B. Ford, donated 50 acres of land. The residential school opened in 1942 as part of the Vista Maria facility. By the 1980s the facility had evolved into a lay-run "residential treatment and detention facility for young women, placed [t]here by the court". The school has grades 5 - 12 and serves about 170 students at any time but 450 individuals in a school year. For some years Clara B. Ford was operated by the Dearborn School District although it is located in Dearborn Heights.

The Dearborn Homecoming festival, established in 1979, is an annual celebration held in the city of Dearborn, Michigan. The three-day festival takes place at Ford Field Park near Divine Child High School, Edsel Ford High School, and Dearborn High School. Main features include reunions, carnival rides, historical reenactments, and a large display of fireworks.

The Commandant's Quarters at the Dearborn Arsenal is a United States military structure located at 21950 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, Michigan. Built in 1834, it is the oldest building in Dearborn still located on its original site. It is considered to be one of the seven most significant buildings in Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan State Historic Site in 1956 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.The building is part of the Dearborn Historical Museum, which also includes the 1832 Richard Gardner House and the McFadden-Ross House (originally the 1839 Arsenal powder magazine).
