The Commandant's Quarters at the Dearborn Arsenal is a United States military structure located at 21950 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, Michigan. Built in 1834, it is the oldest building in Dearborn still located on its original site. It is considered to be one of the seven most significant buildings in Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan State Historic Site in 1956 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.The building is part of the Dearborn Historical Museum, which also includes the 1832 Richard Gardner House and the McFadden-Ross House (originally the 1839 Arsenal powder magazine).

The Ford Engineering Laboratory is a Ford Motor Company facility designed by architect Albert Kahn in the 1920s and completed in 1930. It was originally used by Henry Ford as a multi-purpose facility. Its primary use was to house Ford's product development staff but was also home to a number of Ford's other projects such as the Dearborn Independent newspaper, a folk dancing studio, and accounting department. FEL is located at 21500 Oakwood Blvd in Dearborn, Michigan.FEL is notable for its Bedford limestone facade, which includes Beaux Arts style carved figures representing natural forces, and the names of scientific and industrial figures that Henry Ford admired, including Ford's friend and mentor Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, Galileo, and others. FEL is currently in use by Ford, where it houses engineering staff and the Ford Motor Company archives. The rear portion of the building is shared with The Henry Ford as an annex. The interior of the building is not open to the public.

The John D. Dingell Transit Center, also known as the Dearborn Transit Center, is an intermodal transit station in Dearborn, Michigan. It is served by Amtrak's Wolverine line as well as Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) buses. The station is named after former U.S. Representative John Dingell.

Dearborn High School (DHS) is a public high school located in Dearborn, Michigan. It was founded in 1893 in Dearborn near Metro Detroit. Dearborn High is one of the three high schools of the Dearborn City School District and is located at 19501 Outer Drive. There are over 2,000 students currently attending Dearborn High. Its attendance boundary includes sections of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.

The museum collection contains the presidential limousine of John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln's chair from Ford's Theatre, Thomas Edison's laboratory, the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop, the Rosa Parks bus, and many other historical exhibits. It is the largest indoor–outdoor museum complex in the United States and is visited by over 1.7 million people each year. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969 as Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1981 as "Edison Institute".

Fair Lane was the estate of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford and his wife, Clara Ford, in Dearborn, Michigan, in the United States. It was named after an area in Cork in Ireland where Ford's adoptive grandfather, Patrick Ahern, was born. The 1,300-acre (530 ha) estate along the River Rouge included a large limestone house, an electrical power plant on the dammed river, a greenhouse, a boathouse, riding stables, a children's playhouse, a treehouse, and extensive landmark gardens designed by Chicago landscape architect Jens Jensen. The residence and part of the estate grounds are open to the public as a historical landscape and house museum, and preserved as a National Historic Landmark. Part of the estate grounds are preserved as a university nature study area.

It is one of the two regional universities operating under the policies of the University of Michigan Board of Regents, the other being the University of Michigan–Flint.UMD is one of the 14 master's universities in the State of Michigan. The university's enrollment is approximately 8,700 students, behind Baker College, ahead of Saginaw Valley State University. WHFR (89.3 MHz) is a low power radio station in Dearborn, Michigan, which is owned and operated by Henry Ford College. WHFR programs a variety radio format, music heard little elsewhere on Detroit area radio stations. The station features alternative/modern rock, big bands, urban gospel, Americana, folk, blues, hip hop, jazz, space rock, urban rock, and world music, in addition to a weekly public affairs show. Most music shows highlight new releases, independent labels, and local artists. Through a satellite-delivered service known as "Classical 24," the station provides classical music in late nights and early mornings. WHFR-FM is non-commercial, student-staffed, faculty-guided station with its radio studios in the college's Student Center. The transmitter is also on the campus, off Evergreen Road.

Henry Ford College (HFC) is a public community college in Dearborn, Michigan. The institution, established in 1938 by the Dearborn Fordson Public Schools Board of Education, is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The institution was originally named Fordson Junior College. It adopted the name Dearborn Junior College in 1946, then Henry Ford Community College (HFCC) in 1952, after the Henry Ford Trade School which closed and whose assets were transferred to the Dearborn School Board of Education. The name was changed to Henry Ford College in 2014.

Henry Ford Academy is a charter school in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. It was the first such school to be developed jointly by a global corporation, public education, and a major nonprofit cultural institution. The school is sponsored by the Ford Motor Company, Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency and The Henry Ford Museum and admits high school students. It is located on the campus of the Henry Ford museum. Enrollment is taken from a lottery in the area and totaled 467 in 2010.Freshman meet inside the main museum building in glass walled classrooms, while older students use a converted carousel building and Pullman cars on a siding of the Greenfield Village railroad. Classes are expected to include use of the museum artifacts, a tradition of the original Village Schools. When the Museum was established in 1929, it included a school which served grades kindergarten to college/trade school ages. The last part of the original school closed in 1969. The new school restarted with a group of 100 freshman in 1997.The Henry Ford Learning Institute is using the Henry Ford Academy model for further charter schools including Power House High School in Chicago and Alameda School for Art + Design in San Antonio, Texas. The building received the international annual design award of the Council of Educational Facilities Planners International for 2001, the James D. MacConnell Award for outstanding new educational facilities.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn Fieldhouse is a multi-purpose arena/athletic facility located in Dearborn, Michigan on the campus of University of Michigan-Dearborn.The facility houses a 2,500-seat multi-purpose gymnasium that is the home to the Michigan-Dearborn Men's and Women's basketball teams, and UMD Women's Volleyball team competing at the NAIA Division II level in the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).The Fieldhouse also houses a 1,500-seat ice arena that serves as the home for Wolverines Men's Ice Hockey team competing at the ACHA Division I level in the NAIA Hockey Division and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.The fieldhouse is also used for recreation and Intramural sports.
