Stinstedt

Odisheim (in High German, in Low Saxon Godshem; literally in English: Wotan's home or God's home, respectively) is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Odisheim belongs to the Land of Hadeln, first an exclave of the younger Duchy of Saxony and after its de facto dynastic partition in 1296 of the Duchy of Saxe-Lauenburg, established de jure in 1260. In 1728 Emperor Charles VI enfeoffed the George II Augustus and his House of Hanover in personal union with the reverted fief of Saxe-Lauenburg. By a redeployment of Hanoverian territories in 1731 the Hanoverian Duchies of Bremen and Verden were conveyed the administration of the neighboured Land of Hadeln. The Kingdom of Hanover incorporated the Land of Hadeln in a real union and its territory, including Odisheim, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.

Sietland is a former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It was situated in the historical Land of Hadeln approx. 20 km southeast of Cuxhaven. Its seat was in the village Ihlienworth. On 1 January 2011 it merged with the Samtgemeinde Hadeln to form the new Samtgemeinde Land Hadeln. Wingst (German pronunciation: [vɪŋst] ) is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Wingst belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen, established in 1180. In 1648 the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown - interrupted by a Danish occupation (1712–1715) - and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. In 1807 the ephemeric Kingdom of Westphalia annexed the Duchy, before France annexed it in 1810. In 1813 the Duchy was restored to the Electorate of Hanover, which - after its upgrade to the Kingdom of Hanover in 1814 - incorporated the Duchy in a real union and the Ducal territory, including Wingst, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.

The Westerberg (i.e. western hill) in Rahden is a low ridge in Northern Germany in the north of the collective municipality of Börde Lamstedt in the state of Lower Saxony. It is covered with mixed forest and, like the nearby Wingst ridge, it is an end moraine from the Saale glaciation period. Together with the Wingst it forms part of the eastern boundary of Land Hadeln. The Georgenhöhe ("George's Height") is its highest elevation at 66 metres (217 ft). In the middle of the Westerberg woods are inter alia a megalithic grave or dolmen, the Steinofen and a "stone garden", a collection of 106 examples of glacial erratics. A nunnery that later moved to Himmelpforten was originally seated on the hill. The convent owned Westerberg hill with its forest.The erratics are evidence of the impact of the ice age on the region.

The Silberberg is a low hill, 74 metres high, in the Wingst ridge in the district of Cuxhaven in the north German state of Lower Saxony. It is the highest natural elevation in the Elbe-Weser Triangle, but is overshadowed by the observation tower of the nearby hill of Deutscher Olymp. It was formed from an ice age moraine. There used to be a small silver mine here which gave the hill its name.
