Braker Sieltief is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. The Braker Sieltief springs in the Süder-Frieschenmoor. It is a left tributary of the Weser in Brake.

Drepte is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It flows into the Weser north of Brake.

Brake (German pronunciation: [ˈbʁaːkə]; Low German: Broak) is the district seat of Wesermarsch district in northern Germany.

Brake (Unterweser) (German: Bahnhof Brake (Unterweser)) is a railway station located in Brake, Germany. The station is located on the Hude-Blexen railway. The train services are operated by NordWestBahn. The station has been part of the Bremen S-Bahn since December 2010.

Lune is a river in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is some 41 kilometres (25 mi) long and a right tributary of the Lower Weser. The Lune is a small lowland river, which is joined initially by the Volkmarster Lune on the boundary between the borough of Bremervörde and the district of Cuxhaven. Between Kirchwistedt and Stemmermühlen is its confluence with the Altwistedter Lune, and it then flows through Beverstedt, Lunestedt, Nesse near Loxstedt and Lanhausen to the Lunesiel south of the Fischereihafen district of Bremerhaven. Until the beginning of the 17th century the river was a major transport artery and navigable until Deelbrügge (nowadays a district of Beverstedt). It was named after the explorer Gerhard von Lune who lived between 1602 and 1666[2]

Harriersand is a river island located in the lower reaches of the Weser in Germany.Harriersand faces the town of Brake, but it has been part of the municipality of Schwanewede since 1 March 1974, as it is more easily accessible from the eastern bank of the river (since 1965 a bridge connects the island to the mainland at the level of the hamlet of Rade). It was previously administered by the town of Brake itself.It is 11 km (6.8 mi) long and has an area of 6 km2 (2.3 sq mi). As of 30 June 2018, the island had 68 inhabitants, as well as numerous holiday homes.

Schweiburg is a branch of the river Weser near Rodenkirchen (a division of Stadland) in Lower Saxony, Germany.

Uthlede is a village and a former municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 January 2014, it is part of the municipality Hagen im Bremischen. Uthlede belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen, established in 1180 AD. In 1648 the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown - interrupted by a Danish occupation (1712–1715) - and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. The Kingdom of Hanover incorporated the Duchy in a real union and the Ducal territory, including Uthlede, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.

Unterweser nuclear power station is an inactive nuclear power plant in Kleinensiel (Stadland municipality), near Nordenham. When it first went online, it was the largest nuclear reactor in the world. It had 193 fuel assemblies. Unterweser was one of the seven reactors shut down on 17 March 2011 (although actual shutdown was several days later, as the nuclear fuel rods take time to cool down) pending the results of a three-month moratorium on nuclear power. On 30 May 2011, the German government announced that Unterweser would not be returning to operation following the moratorium and would be decommissioned. The final fuel rods were removed in February 2019.

The Wesertunnel crosses the river Weser in northwestern Germany between the villages of Rodenkirchen and Dedesdorf, offering a connection between the cities of Nordenham and Bremerhaven on a regional level. It was built from 1998 to 2004 and connects the districts of Wesermarsch and Cuxhaven by means of the B 437, providing easy access to the A 27 motorway and the B 212. In the long run it will be part of the planned A 22, 2010 renamed A 20 as prospective part of the Ostsee- or Küstenautobahn (Baltic or Coastal Freeway).

Driftsethe is a village and a former municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 January 2014, it is part of the municipality Hagen im Bremischen. Driftsethe belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen, established in 1180. In 1648 the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown - interrupted by a Danish occupation (1712–1715) - and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. In 1807 the ephemeric Kingdom of Westphalia annexed the Duchy, before France annexed it in 1810. In 1813 the Duchy was restored to the Electorate of Hanover, which - after its upgrade to the Kingdom of Hanover in 1814 - incorporated the Duchy in a real union and the Ducal territory, including Driftsethe, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.

Kleinensiel (German: Bahnhof Kleinensiel) is a railway station located in Kleinensiel, Germany. The station is located on the Hude-Blexen railway. The train services are operated by NordWestBahn. The station has been part of the Bremen S-Bahn since December 2010. Before the Weser tunnel was opened, the railway crossing adjacent to the station was part of one of the main ferry approaches to cross the Weser river, often resulting in delays for motorists when closed. A bit south of the station, a freight track branches off the line to serve the KKU nuclear power plant.
