Hagen is a former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat was in Hagen im Bremischen. It was disbanded on 1 January 2014.The Samtgemeinde Hagen consisted of the following municipalities: Bramstedt Driftsethe Hagen im Bremischen Sandstedt Uthlede Wulsbüttel

Hagen im Bremischen is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km south of Bremerhaven, and 35 km northwest of Bremen. Hagen was the seat of the former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Hagen.

Bramstedt is a village and a former municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 January 2014, it is part of the municipality Hagen im Bremischen. Bramstedt belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen. In 1648 the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. In 1823 the Duchy was abolished and its territory became part of the Stade Region.

Loxstedt (in High German, in Low Saxon: Lox) is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated south of Bremerhaven.

Loxstedt is the name of a railway station on the Bremerhaven-Bremen line in northwestern Germany. The station is situated in the town of Loxstedt, in the Cuxhaven district of Lower Saxony. The station was opened in 1847 as part of the Bremen to Wulsdorf railway line. On 10 March 1862, the station building was inaugurated, featuring two flats for the stationmaster and signalmen as well as a freight shed and several outbuildings. In the early 20th century, the station saw some long-distance trains to destinations as far away as Berlin and Hanover. In 1966, the railway line was electrified, freight service was stopped in 1975 and the old station building as well as the signal box Lsf stood empty until they were torn down shortly before Christmas 1978.

Hollen is a village and a former municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 November 2011, it is part of the municipality Beverstedt. Hollen belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen, established in 1180. In 1648 the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown - interrupted by a Danish occupation (1712-1715) - and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. In 1807 the ephemeric Kingdom of Westphalia annexed the Duchy, before France annexed it in 1810. In 1813, the Duchy was restored to the Electorate of Hanover, which - after its upgrade to the Kingdom of Hanover in 1814 - incorporated the Duchy in a real union and the Ducal territory, including Hollen, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.

Bexhövede is a village in the Cuxhaven district of Lower Saxony, Germany which was incorporated into the municipality of Loxstedt in 1974. It is well known for being the origin of the noble Buxhoeveden family. Its population as of the 2011 census is 2,100 residents.

Drepte is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It flows into the Weser north of Brake.

Lune is a river in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is some 41 kilometres (25 mi) long and a right tributary of the Lower Weser. The Lune is a small lowland river, which is joined initially by the Volkmarster Lune on the boundary between the borough of Bremervörde and the district of Cuxhaven. Between Kirchwistedt and Stemmermühlen is its confluence with the Altwistedter Lune, and it then flows through Beverstedt, Lunestedt, Nesse near Loxstedt and Lanhausen to the Lunesiel south of the Fischereihafen district of Bremerhaven. Until the beginning of the 17th century the river was a major transport artery and navigable until Deelbrügge (nowadays a district of Beverstedt). It was named after the explorer Gerhard von Lune who lived between 1602 and 1666[2]

Bremerhaven-Wulsdorf is a railway station on the Bremen–Bremerhaven line in the Wulsdorf district of the city of Bremerhaven, Germany.

Lunestedt is a railway station situated on the Bremerhaven to Bremen line. It is situated in the village of Lunestedt in the district of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony, one of the states of Germany.

The Wesertunnel crosses the river Weser in northwestern Germany between the villages of Rodenkirchen and Dedesdorf, offering a connection between the cities of Nordenham and Bremerhaven on a regional level. It was built from 1998 to 2004 and connects the districts of Wesermarsch and Cuxhaven by means of the B 437, providing easy access to the A 27 motorway and the B 212. In the long run it will be part of the planned A 22, 2010 renamed A 20 as prospective part of the Ostsee- or Küstenautobahn (Baltic or Coastal Freeway).
