Fairgrove Township is a civil township of Tuscola County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,549 at the 2020 census. The village of Fairgrove is located within the township, as well as the southern half of the village of Akron.

Tuscola County ( TUSS-koh-lə) is a county in the Thumb region of the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the population was 53,323. The county seat is Caro. The county was created by Michigan Law on April 1, 1840, from land in Sanilac County and attached to Saginaw County for administrative purposes. The Michigan Legislature passed an act on March 2, 1850, that empowered the county residents to organize governmental functions. Tuscola County is one of five counties in the Thumb area. Like the rest of the Thumb, Tuscola County enjoys seasonal tourism from cities like Flint, Detroit and Saginaw.

The Richard C. Burtis House or Wedding Cake House is a Historic Site in Tuscola County, Michigan. The two-story Second Empire building was built from 1879 to 1880 for Richard C. Burtis, a shoemaker and local landowner. Ornamentation includes brackets and a decorative frieze supporting a mansard roof with decorative slate shingle. A bay window topped by a steep octagonal tower dominates the front facade. The Burtis home appeared on Travel Channel in 2019.

Tuscola Area Airport (IATA: TZC, ICAO: KCFS, FAA LID: CFS, formerly 78D) is a public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) southwest of the central business district of Caro, a city in Tuscola County, Michigan, United States. It is owned by the Tuscola Area Airport Authority. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility. Many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA. However, this airport is assigned CFS by the FAA but has been assigned TZC from the IATA. Note that CFS was assigned to Coffs Harbour Airport in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia.

Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School (USA High School) is a public high school located in Sebewaing, Michigan, United States. It was formed in 1972 when Unionville High School and Sebewaing High School merged. The school has won 2 state football championships, seven girls' softball championships (2006, 2007, 2009, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2021), and multiple state wrestling titles, among many other state championship appearances and high advancement in playoffs. The school is also known for its technology program. USA School has received state and national awards for its academic and technology programs. USA School is a Professional Learning Community (PLC) School and is NCA High School.
