Deutsche Schule in der Provinz Málaga or Deutsche Schule Málaga (DS Málaga; Spanish: Colegio Alemán de Málaga) is a private German international school in Marbella, Malaga Province, Spain. It serves years 1–12, The education begins in early childhood, and ends with Oberstufe/Bachillerato. The pastor of the German Evangelical Church and the former consul of the Empire of Germany established the school, which educated German and Spanish children and was founded in 1898. It closed in 1945, at the end of World War II, but was re-established in 1967 by Hans (Juan) Hoffmann Heinkeder (Berlin, 1916-Málaga, 1998), the German Consul General in Malaga at the time.

La Mairena is a hill top residential resort on the Costa del Sol, just 5 km (3 mi) from the coastal ruralisation of Elviria, on the eastern outskirts of Marbella, Spain. At 400 m (1300 ft) above sea level, the village has views towards the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, the Rock of Gibraltar and the African coast. In 2012, a wildfire devastated much of the countryside surrounding La Mairena, There was one reported fatality, with damage mainly to gardens. Many cork oaks, which hadn’t had their protective bark harvested before the fire, have survived and are regaining their abundant canopy of small dark leaves.

Torre Ladrones (Thieves Tower) is a tower on the Puerto de Cabopino beach in Marbella, Spain. It is part of the coastal fortification line along the Andalusian Mediterranean coast. Both the architecture and the materials used, indicate that Torre Ladrones was built during the period of Arab domination in the Spanish peninsula. It is 15 meters high, a figure that makes it the tallest watchtower of the Malaga coast. The interior is divided into three rooms and a housetop. At that time, its role was clearly defensive: to warn of potential enemies and to organize a coordinated defense in case the enemy attacked. Torre Ladrones was declared Bien de Interés Cultural (Good of Cultural Interest) in 1985, and it is one of the most visited monuments in Marbella.

Torre Río Real is a tower in Marbella, southern Spain, built in 1575. The tower, located next to the Mediterranean Expressway, is 10.85 metres (35.6 ft) in height and 22 metres (72 ft) in circumference. Like other beacon towers along the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia, the tower was part of a surveillance system used by the coast and Christian Arabs. Also like the other towers, it has been declared Bien de Interés Cultural.

Estadio Municipal Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas is a stadium in Marbella, Spain. It is primarily used for football. Spanish football team Marbella FC holding home matches at this stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 7,300 people. It is a venue for the Marbella Cup and Football Impact Cup, an annual friendly football tournaments. Queen performed here on 5 August 1986 during their Magic Tour. This was their penultimate live show with Freddie Mercury. Exactly two years later, Michael Jackson performed in front of 28,000 during his Bad World Tour. In July 1990, Prince performed here on his Nude Tour.

The Hospital Bazán is a historical building in Marbella, Andalucia, Spain. Today it houses the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engravings or "Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo".

Marbella (UK: mar-BAY-yə, US: mar-BEL-ə, Spanish: [maɾˈβeʎa]) is a city and municipality in southern Spain, belonging to the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is part of the Costa del Sol and is the headquarters of the Association of Municipalities of the region; it is also the head of the judicial district that bears its name. The municipality covers an area of 117 square kilometres (45 sq mi) crossed by highways on the coast, which are its main entrances. In 2018, the population of the city was 141,463 inhabitants, making it the second most populous municipality in the province of Málaga and the seventh in Andalusia. The 1973 World Cup took place 22–25 November at the Club de Golf Nueva Andalucía in Marbella, Spain. The name of the club was later changed to Real Club de Golf Las Brisas. It was the 21st World Cup event. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 49 teams. Each team consisted of two players from a country. Team Czechoslovakia of Jiri Dvorak and Jaromir Fuchs were notified, but withdraw from the tournament before it began. Also before the tournament begun, notable player withdrawals were Peter Thomson, selected to the Australian team, replaced by Errol Hardvigsen, Peter Oosterhuis, selected to the English team, replaced by Peter Wilcock, Terry Kendall, selected to the New Zealand team, replaced by Simon Owen and Brian Huggett, selected to the Welsh team, replaced by David Vaughan. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The United States team of Johnny Miller and Jack Nicklaus won by six strokes over the South Africa team of Hugh Baiocchi and Gary Player. This was the 12th team victory for United States, six of them with Jack Nicklaus on the team, in the event, formerly named Canada Cup, since its inception in 1953. The individual competition for the International Trophy, was won by Miller, three strokes ahead of Player.
