Rheinbrohl

Brohlbach is a river of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Rhine at Brohl-Lützing.The valley of the Brohlbach is called Brohltal (Brohl Valley), not Brohlbachtal (Brohlbach Valley).

The ruin of one of its watchtowers still overlooks the Rhine at an altitude of 195 m, near the village of Hammerstein. The Rheinsteig hiking trail passes close to the ruins which can be reached via a small path.

Andernach Geyser (German: Geysir Andernach, previously Namedyer Sprudel) is the highest cold-water geyser in the world, reaching heights of 30 to 60 metres. The geyser was first bored in 1903 on the Namedy Peninsula (Namedyer Werth) in the Rhine near Andernach. In 2006 it was turned into a tourist attraction and one of the sights in the volcano park and part of the Geopark Vulkanland Eifel.
