Shin-Yurigaoka Station

The Japan Institute of the Moving Image (日本映画大学, Nihon Eiga Daigaku), formerly known as the Yokohama Broadcasting Technical School, is a Japanese film school and university. It was founded in 1975 by film director Shohei Imamura.While a student at this school, director Takashi Miike was given his first film credit, as assistant director on Imamura's 1987 film Zegen.As of 2012, the current president is Tadao Sato.

The Battle of Ozawahara (Japanese: 小沢原の戦い) was fought in 1530 in the present day Asao, Kawasaki, Kanagawa. This was the first battle for Hōjō Ujiyasu, then sixteen years old.Ujiyasu faced Uesugi Tomooki at Ozawahara in Musashi Province. The battle was part of a seventeen-year struggle between the Hōjō clan and the Uesugi clan for control of the Kantō region which began with the 1524 Siege of Edo. The battle ended with a Hōjō victory.

Yurigaoka (百合丘, also written as 百合ケ丘) is a neighborhood in Asao-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture which consists of 1 to 3-chōme. The population was 8009 (4189 households) as of March 2009.

Den-en Chōfu University (田園調布学園大学, Den-en Chōfu Gakuen Daigaku) is a private university in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. Its predecessor, a women's school, was founded in 1926. It was chartered as a women's junior college in 1967 and became coeducational in 1998. In 2002 the school became a four-year college.

Momonga Standing and Loop Coaster (often referred to as Loop Coaster MOMOnGA, Japanese: ループコースターMOMOnGA) was a steel roller coaster that operated from 1979 to 2021 at Yomiuriland in Inagi, Tokyo, Japan. The coaster was best known for simultaneously operating both a sit-down and stand-up roller coaster train, which also rendered it as one of the earliest known stand-up roller coasters.

The 1966 Canada Cup took place 11–14 November at the Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club in Inagi, Tokyo, Japan. It was the 14th Canada Cup event, which became the World Cup in 1967. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 36 teams. These were the same teams that had competed in 1965 with the addition of South Korea and Thailand, but without Egypt, Monaco and Morocco. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The American team of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer won by five strokes over the South African team of Harold Henning and Gary Player. The individual competition was won by the Canadian George Knudson, who won at the second hole of a sudden-playoff over the Japanese Hideyo Sugimoto.

The Golf Nippon Series (ゴルフ日本シリーズJTカップ, Gorufu nihon shirīzu jei-tī kappu) is a professional golf tournament on the Japan Golf Tour. First played in 1963, it is one of the tour's four major championships. Since 1995, it has been held at the Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club in Inagi, Tokyo.
