South West Wiltshire is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Andrew Murrison, a Conservative, since its creation in 2010.

The Church of All Saints is the main Church of England parish church in Westbury, Wiltshire, England. There has been a church on the site since Saxon times, and the current church, largely rebuilt around 1437, is a Grade I listed building.

Westbury is a market town and civil parish in west Wiltshire, England. The town lies below the northwestern edge of Salisbury Plain, about 4 miles (6 km) south of Trowbridge and a similar distance north of Warminster. Westbury was known for the annual Hill Fair where many sheep were sold in the 18th and 19th centuries; later growth came from the town's position at the intersection of two railway lines. W. H. Laverton's Ground is a historic cricket ground in Westbury, Wiltshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1888, when W. H. Laverton's XI played O. G. Radcliffe's XI. The ground hosted a single first-class match in 1890, which saw W. H. Laverton's XI playing the touring Australians.Originally part of the grounds of Leighton House, which is today home to the Army Officer Selection Board, the field is now part of Wiltshire Council's Leighton Recreation Centre complex in Wellhead Lane, Westbury, and the Westbury & District Cricket Club is based there.

Upton Cow Down (grid reference ST875491) is a 16.4 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Wiltshire. The down is an area of chalk grassland on the western edge of Salisbury Plain. It lies one mile south of the town of Westbury, above the village of Upton Scudamore.

The Warminster and Westbury Rural District was a rural district in Wiltshire, England from 1935 to 1974. With effect from 1935, it was formed by a County Review Order under the Local Government Act 1929 as a merger of the Warminster Rural District and the Westbury and Whorwellsdown Rural District. It entirely surrounded the urban districts of Warminster and Westbury. The district included the parishes of Bishopstrow, Boyton, Bratton, Brixton Deverill, Bulkington, Chapmanslade, Chitterne, Codford, Corsley, Dilton Marsh, East Coulston, Edington, Great Hinton, Heytesbury, Heywood, Horningsham, Imber, Keevil, Kingston Deverill, Knook, Longbridge Deverill, North Bradley, Norton Bavant, Sherrington, Southwick, Steeple Ashton, Stockton, Sutton Veny, Upton Lovell, Upton Scudamore, and West Ashton.In 1974, it was abolished as a result of the Local Government Act 1972, the whole of its area becoming part of the new West Wiltshire district.
