Springwood State High School is a Queensland state school located in the Logan City suburb of Springwood. The school opened in 1977 to Grade 8 students with its official opening in 1978. Springwood State High School is situated on 55 acres (220,000 m2) of bushland and includes a lagoon which is used by senior Biology students. In addition to this, the school is home to many native animal species including Koalas, Wallabies and many species of birds.The school is home to one of fifteen air quality monitoring stations in South East Queensland.

The architecture of the station is based upon the steel and glass designs of Brisbane's busway stations. It is in Zone 2 of the Translink integrated public transport system. As part of the upgrade of the Pacific Motorway between Eight Mile Plains and Daisy Hill commenced in 2020, the South East Busway will be extended to Springwood bus station. The Pacific Highway upgrade and the Busway extension is expected to be completed in 2024.

The Rochedale Busway Station is a proposed Busway Station to be built in Queensland Australia at Rochedale near Underwood Road as part of an extension to the South East Busway, planned to be completed in 2024. The station will be served by Translink bus routes. It will be the station between the existing Eight Mile Plains Station (currently the last station on the South East Busway) and Springwood Bus Station.

Chung Tian Temple (Chinese: 中天寺; pinyin: Zhōng tiān sì; lit. 'Middle Heaven Temple') is a Chan Buddhist temple located at 1034 Underwood Road, Priestdale, Queensland. The temple is part of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist monastic order. Construction of the temple began in January 1991 and it opened in June 1993. Chung Tian Temple was founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, who is also the founder of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist order.

John Paul College is an independent, non-denominational Christian early learning, primary, and secondary day and boarding school, located in the Logan City suburb of Daisy Hill, Queensland, Australia. Established in 1982, the school enrolled 1,711 students in 2018, from early learning and Year K to Year 12, of whom two percent identified as Indigenous Australians and 24 percent came from a language background other than English. John Paul International College provides English Language Studies for international students keen to engage in study in Australia.The principal is Craig Merritt. The school is located on a 33-hectare (82-acre) campus, and is a member of The Associated Schools.

Redeemer Lutheran College is a co-educational Lutheran primary and secondary school in Rochedale, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1980 by Robin Kleinschmidt and other Lutherans in the south of Brisbane, the College currently educates students from years Prep to 12.
