Springwood bus station

The Rochedale Busway Station is a proposed Busway Station to be built in Queensland Australia at Rochedale near Underwood Road as part of an extension to the South East Busway, planned to be completed in 2024. The station will be served by Translink bus routes. It will be the station between the existing Eight Mile Plains Station (currently the last station on the South East Busway) and Springwood Bus Station.

Springwood State High School is situated on 55 acres (220,000 m2) of bushland and includes a lagoon which is used by senior Biology students. In addition to this, the school is home to many native animal species including Koalas, Wallabies and many species of birds.The school is home to one of fifteen air quality monitoring stations in South East Queensland.

Mabel Park State School is a public primary for students between the years of prep to year 6. The school is located on Borman Street, Slacks Creek, Logan City, Queensland, Australia. The school was opened on 29 January 1974 and, as of 2012, had more than 700 students. The motto of the school is "Truth Conquers All" and the school colour is maroon. The schools Drumline has played for many concerts. They have played for Dreamworld and Basketball games in the Logan region. The choir for the school has also been in many concerts. The school has won many awards from the musical department. The school has been shown in Queensland's Creative Generation a few times in both musical categories (drumline and vocal). Mabel Park Junior Campus is located next to the primary school.

The City of Logan is a local government area situated within the south of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Australia. Situated between the City of Brisbane to the north and the City of Gold Coast to the south, the City also borders the Scenic Rim Region, the City of Ipswich, and Redland City LGAs. New developments are common, particularly those being built at Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone, while Griffith University has already established a Logan campus in Meadowbrook which is being developed into a specialist area based around health, research and education.In 2016, Luke Smith was elected mayor of Logan. On 2 May 2019, Minister for Local Government Stirling Hinchliffe sacked the Logan City Council after eight of its Councillors and suspended mayor were charged with one count of fraud. The suspended Mayor was also charged with two counts of misconduct. The council was under administration until March 2020 elections.

Chung Tian Temple (Chinese: 中天寺; pinyin: Zhōng tiān sì; lit. 'Middle Heaven Temple') is a Chan Buddhist temple located at 1034 Underwood Road, Priestdale, Queensland. The temple is part of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist monastic order. Construction of the temple began in January 1991 and it opened in June 1993. Chung Tian Temple was founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, who is also the founder of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist order.

Redeemer Lutheran College is a co-educational Lutheran primary and secondary school in Rochedale, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1980 by Robin Kleinschmidt and other Lutherans in the south of Brisbane, the College currently educates students from years Prep to 12. The college currently has no principal, however the acting principal is Richard Cornish.
