Michiana () is a village in New Buffalo Township, Berrien County in the extreme southwest corner of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 182 at the 2010 census. Michiana is also the commonly used term to describe the southwest Michigan and northwest Indiana region, hence the name "Mich-iana".

Michiana Shores is a town in Springfield and Michigan townships, LaPorte County, Indiana, United States. The population was 313 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Michigan City, Indiana-La Porte, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. Michiana Shores is located in northwesternmost Springfield Township, and is the township's sole incorporated community. Michiana Shores takes its name from the Michiana region along the Michigan-Indiana border.

George and Adele Jaworowski House, also known as Early Birds, is a historic home located in Michigan Township, LaPorte County, Indiana. It was designed by architect John Lloyd Wright and built in 1945–1946. The house is atop and carved into a sand dune on the shore of Lake Michigan. The house is in the Prairie School of architecture and has a high pitched hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves and dormer. Duneland Beach is an unincorporated community in Michigan Township, LaPorte County, Indiana. It took its name from the Indiana Dunes.

New Buffalo Township is a civil township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 2,386. It is the southwesternmost township on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. When Berrien County was first established in 1831, New Buffalo was a part of Berrien Township. New Buffalo Township was established by an act of the state legislature on March 12, 1836. Five days later, the village of New Buffalo was incorporated. The township originally included what are now Three Oaks Township and Chikaming Township. Three Oaks and Chikaming were set apart in 1856.

Lowell E. and Paula G. Jackson House, also known as the House of Tile, is a historic home located at Long Beach, LaPorte County, Indiana. It was designed by architect John Lloyd Wright and built in 1938. The house is constructed of 12 inch square clay tiles painted green and carved into a sand dune on the shore of Lake Michigan. The house has horizontal clapboard siding and is in the International Style of architecture. The house has three levels and a carport. The Galien River is a 30.0-mile-long (48.3 km) stream in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan. The river begins at the outlet of Dayton Lake and flows in a predominantly westerly direction until it enters southeastern Lake Michigan at New Buffalo. The South Branch Galien River rises just north of the border with Indiana, at the confluence of Spring Creek and the Galena River, the latter rising in LaPorte County, Indiana.

New Buffalo station is a train station in New Buffalo, Michigan, served by Amtrak, the United States' passenger railroad system. The Blue Water (Chicago–Port Huron) stops once daily, and Wolverine (Chicago–Detroit/Pontiac) stops three times daily in each direction.

John and Isabel Burnham House, also known as the Pagoda House, is a historic home located at Long Beach, LaPorte County, Indiana. It was designed by architect John Lloyd Wright and built in 1934. It is a five level house located on the shore of Lake Michigan. The house is a blend of Prairie School and International Style architecture with hipped and pent roof forms. The house is sheathed in stucco and salmon colored brick. Also contributing is the house site with extensive stone terracing.: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

New Buffalo is a city in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,708 during the 2020 census.

Camp Tel Hai (Hebrew: מחנה תל חי makhane tel khai) was an early summer camp kvutza of the Chicago chapter of the Habonim youth movement and one of the first summer camps of Habonim in North America. Founded in 1935 near New Buffalo, Michigan on the site of an old Farband summer camp that had been damaged by fire, Tel Hai operated for ten years before being destroyed by fire around 1945.

Long Beach is a town in Michigan Township, LaPorte County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of Long Beach was 1,179. It is included in the Michigan City, Indiana-La Porte, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area.
