Central Lake Township, Michigan

Central Lake is a village in Antrim County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 960 at the 2020 census. The village is located within Central Lake Township. Central Lake is situated on a lake which is in the center of a chain of lakes and rivers in the county, hence the name.

The Dingman River is the name for a portion of the Intermediate River in Antrim County, Michigan. The Dingman River flows 2.7 miles (4.3 km) from Scotts Lake northwest to Sixmile Lake, entirely within Echo Township. Via the Elk River Chain of Lakes, water from the Dingman River flows to Grand Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan.

Torch Lake Township is a civil township of Antrim County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located in the Northern Lower Peninsula, the township comprises an isthmus between the eponymous Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay, a bay of Lake Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 1,212, a slight increase from 1,194 at the 2010 census.

Eastport is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Antrim County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population of the CDP was 206 at the 2020 census. It is located in Torch Lake Township, and lies on an isthmus between Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay.

The Torchport Airport, also known as the Torchport Airpark, (FAA LID: 59M) is a privately owned, public use airport located 3 miles south of Eastport, Michigan. It is at an elevation of 640 ft (195 m). The airport is located on Torch Lake between Charlevoix and Traverse City.

Ellsworth is a village in Antrim County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 349 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Banks Township. The village is primarily a bedroom community with its primary industry being gravel and other aggregates. Agriculture and forestry are also important industries. Ellsworth is home to a small annual festival called the Pig Roast, which involves a parade and horse pulls and roast pork. Ellsworth is the seat of Banks Township, which also includes the community of Atwood and several cherry orchards. Ellsworth's main governing body is the Ellsworth Village Council. The town is named after Elmer Ephraim Ellsworth, the first Union officer to die in the American Civil War.

Torch Lake is a lake in the Northern Lower Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. At 19 miles (31 km) long, is Michigan's longest inland lake, and at approximately 29.3 mi2 (76 km2), it is Michigan's second largest inland lake, after Houghton Lake. The name is taken from County Antrim in Northern Ireland. Antrim County is home to Torch Lake, Michigan's deepest and second-largest inland lake. Torch Lake, famous for its clear and blue waters, is part of the Chain of Lakes Watershed, most of which lies within Antrim County. The county is bordered to the west by Grand Traverse Bay, a bay of Lake Michigan.

The Henry Richardi House is located at 402 North Bridge Street in Bellaire, Michigan. It was originally built for Henry Richardi, a late 19th century lumber baron and industrialist, reportedly in an attempt to woo a young woman for a wife. It currently operates as the "Grand Victorian Bed and Breakfast." It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
