Palm Beach Atlantic University

The Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish are the athletic teams that represent Palm Beach Atlantic University, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the NCAA Division II ranks, primarily competing in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) since the 2015–16 academic year as a provisional member for most their sports (achieving D-II full member status in 2016–17); while its men's and women's track & field teams compete as NCAA D-II Independents as the conference does not sponsor these sports. The Sailfish previously competed as an NCAA D-II Independent from 2003–04 to 2014–15; and in the Florida Sun Conference (FSC; now currently known as the Sun Conference since the 2008–09 school year) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) from 1990–91 to 2002–03. The school's colors are navy blue and white.

The Plaza (formerly known as Trump Plaza and Trump Plaza of the Palm Beaches), is a twin-tower condominium property located along the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach, Florida. The property was developed by Robert Armour and Michael Guider through their company, Armour Guider Development Corporation. Construction of the project, originally known as The Plaza, began in 1981. After several construction delays, The Plaza opened in October 1985, although Robert Armour had only minimal success in selling the condominium units. In 1986, the property was foreclosed and then sold to businessman Donald Trump, who renovated and renamed it as Trump Plaza later that year. Trump intended to sell the property's remaining 120 units within a year and a half. Although sales increased because of the Trump name, 50 percent of the units remained unsold as of 1990. The remaining units were auctioned. The name of the property was changed in January 2021 after the 2021 United States Capitol attack.

The Mango Promenade Historic District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on July 8, 1999) located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The district is bounded by South Dixie Highway, Austin Lane, Coconut Lane, and Cranesnest Way. It contains 125 historic buildings.

The Royal Park Bridge is a bascule bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway, linking Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, Florida. It gained widespread attention in February of 2022 when a woman fell to her death as its movable spans rose.

Palm Beach County is a county located in the southeastern part of Florida and lies directly north of Broward County and Miami-Dade County. The county had a population of 1,492,191 as of the 2020 census, making it the third-most populous county in the state of Florida and the 26th-most populous county in the United States. The largest city and county seat is West Palm Beach. Named after one of its oldest settlements, Palm Beach, the county was established in 1909, after being split from Dade County. The county's modern-day boundaries were established in 1963. It leads the state in agricultural productivity; agriculture is Palm Beach County's second-largest industry, after real estate development. In undeveloped (central and western) Palm Beach County there is significant tropical agricultural production, especially nurseries, truck crops (vegetables), and sugar cane. Palm Beach County has been called the "Winter Vegetable Capital" of the nation.

Palm Beach Day Academy is a coeducational independent day school located in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, Florida, U.S. It enrolls students between age 2 and grade 8. Formerly enrolling 9th grade, it was removed in 2023 due to lack of enrollments.

The Square (formerly known as Rosemary Square and CityPlace) is an upscale lifestyle center in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, along South Rosemary Avenue. Considered a New Urbanist mixed-use development, The Square is architecturally composed of Mediterranean and Venetian elements. The 600,000-square-foot (56,000 m2)-center contains more than 60 restaurants and stores, as well as rental apartments, condos, and offices. Opening in October 2000, the property, which constitutes several city blocks, is primarily credited for West Palm Beach's urban renaissance, which had previously been notorious for crime, poverty, and vacant and dilapidated businesses and houses. AMC Parisian 20 and IMAX, LA Fitness and Publix are the center's anchors. The fourth anchor was Macy's which closed in 2017. Hotspots include Cheesecake Factory, Sloan's Ice Cream, and Starbucks. Apart from shopping, dining, and cinema, the center is now at the forefront of West Palm Beach's entertainment complementing establishments located on nearby Clematis Street. The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts are located within walking distance to The Square, as is the Palm Beach County Convention Center. An early-century trolleybus circles downtown between The Square and Clematis.

The Ferndix Building is a historic site at 401 Fern Street in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since July 1999.

The Professional Building is a historic site in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is located at 310 South Dixie Highway. On October 24, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
