Berryhill Fields

Berry Hill High School and Sports College was a mixed, secondary school in Berry Hill, Stoke-on-Trent, one of the two predecessors to St Peter's Academy. With almost 900 students in 2005, merger proposals saw student numbers drop to around 500 by 2010. This period also saw a high turnover of staff. The school closed in summer 2011, and was demolished in 2015.

Bucknall is a suburb of Stoke-on-Trent in the county of Staffordshire. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as having a taxable value of 0.3 geld and consisting of three ploughlands.Mitchell High School was a comprehensive school located in Bucknall that educated pupils of ages 11–16. The school was merged with Edensor High School in Longton in 2011 to form Discovery Academy, with the new school relocating to a new site in Bentilee in 2013. Ash Hall Golf Club (now defunct) first appeared in the mid 1920s. It continued until WW2.

Hanley High School founded in 1894 was originally a co-educational grammar school based in the centre of Stoke on Trent. In 1938, the girls moved to Thistley Hough High School for Girls, and, due to subsidence making the school buildings unsafe, the boys' school moved to new premises in Bucknall in 1953.

Longton railway station is a railway station in England at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The station is served by trains on the Crewe to Derby Line which is also a community rail line known as the North Staffordshire line. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway. The full range of tickets for travel are purchased from the guard on the train at no extra cost.

Longton Transport Interchange serves the town of Longton, Staffordshire, England. The interchange is adjacent to Longton railway station. The interchange was opened in 2003 at a cost of £637,000. The building was part funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, with £140,000 of funding being paid by Tesco. Tesco's contribution was part of the conditions put in place when the council approved planning permission for a supermarket in the town centre.The main operators at the station are First Potteries, Wardle Transport, Copeland Tours and D&G Bus & Coach. Buses run from the bus station around the Potteries area and as far as Alton Towers.

Bucknall and Northwood railway station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1864 to serve the Bucknall area of Stoke-on-Trent. Situated on the company's Biddulph Valley line, the station was served by passenger trains between Stoke and Congleton on the Biddulph Valley line and by trains between Stoke and Leek on the Stoke-Leek line. Passenger services on the Biddulph line ceased in 1927, but services on the Leek line continued until May 1956. After this date the station was still used for special and excursion trains until complete closure in 1962.The line to Leek remained in use (as far as Leekbrook) until 1988 and the track remains in place and it is planned for the line to reopen under plans put forward by Moorland & City Railways.

Methodist Central Hall is a Methodist church buiilding in Longton, Staffordshire, England. The building, dating from 1842 with later modification, is Grade II listed.
