Longton Interchange

Longton railway station is a railway station in England at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The station is served by trains on the Crewe to Derby Line which is also a community rail line known as the North Staffordshire line. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway. The full range of tickets for travel are purchased from the guard on the train at no extra cost.

It was at the heart of the house and rave scene in the early 1990s, helping to launch the career of DJ Sasha and featuring regular appearances from Carl Cox. The Gladstone Pottery Museum is a working museum of a medium-sized coal-fired pottery, typical of those once common in the North Staffordshire area of England from the time of the industrial revolution in the 18th century to the mid 20th century. It is a grade II* listed building.The museum is located in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. It is also included in one of the regional routes of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Despite the name of the museum, it is a complex of buildings from two works, the Gladstone and the Roslyn. The protected features include the kilns. As there are fewer than 50 surviving bottle ovens in Stoke-on-Trent (and only a scattering elsewhere in the UK), the museum's kilns along with others in the Longton conservation area represent a significant proportion of the national stock of the structures.In 1976, the Gladstone Pottery Museum was awarded National Heritage Museum of the Year.

Adderley Green is a village in Staffordshire, England. It is included in the township of Longton with the population at the 2011 census being listed under the Stoke Ward of Sandford Hill. It was a centre for mining activities in the 19th century. In 2010 the Adderley Green Residents Association began an annual Summer Festival. The Festival is in July each year and includes live music, football matches and stalls.

St Thomas More Catholic Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Longton area of Stoke-on-Trent in the English county of Staffordshire. The school is named after Saint Thomas More, a sixteenth century elder statesman who was martyred for his refusal to accept King Henry VIII's claim to be the supreme head of the church. First established in 1980 as a voluntary aided upper school for pupils aged 12 to 18, in 1983 St Thomas More became a secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 18. The school gained a specialism in Maths and Computing in 2004 and became a Training school in 2009. In 2013 the school relocated to a new building and converted to academy status, sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham.St Thomas More Catholic Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs. The sixth form provision is offered as the Trinity Sixth Form, a collaboration between St Thomas More Catholic Academy, St John Fisher Catholic College, and St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy.

Dresden is a southern district of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, on Trentham Road (A5035) south of Longton. The district was developed in the 1850s by a housing society in an area formerly called Spratslade.
