Atarfe

Albolote is a city located in the province of Granada, Spain. It is one of the thirty-four entities which together form Granada's Metropolitan Area. It is formed by several populations: El Aire, El Chaparral, and Parque del Cubillas y Pretel. There are also several residential areas throughout the legal borders of the municipality. Inside those limits you can also find Granada's Penitential Center (Centro Penitencial de Granada, in Spanish). According to Spain's Instituto Nacional de Estadística, the city had a total population of 15,563 in 2005. On 19 April 1956, Albolote and the neighboring town of Atarfe were struck by a 5.0 earthquake, Spain's most destructive of the 20th century. About a dozen people died from the earthquake and subsequent landslide, and many buildings were ruined. The Granada metro network, scheduled to open in 2014, will provide the town with a light metro link to central Granada.

Santa Fe is a Spanish municipality in the province of Granada, situated in the Vega de Granada, irrigated by the river Genil. The town was originally built by the Catholic armies besieging Granada (c. 1490) after a fire destroyed much of their encampment. The Capitulations of Santa Fe between Columbus and the Catholic Monarchs were signed there shortly after the fall of Granada (2 January 1492) on 17 April 1492, and the city therefore advertises itself as "the cradle of hispanicity".The municipality is jointly-eponymous with Santa Fe, New Mexico in the United States. Both cities feature a castle, lion, and the Spanish imperial eagle on their official seals and flags.

Vegas del Genil is a municipality in the province of Granada, Spain. As of 2009, it had a population of 7537 inhabitants.

Peligros is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2013 census (INE), the city has a population of 11,126 inhabitants. It is located next to Pulianas, Maracena, Albolote, Calicasas and Güevejar. It includes a small urbanization called Monteluz. Peligros is one of the fifty two entities that compose the Metropolitan Area of Granada. In 2013 it had 11,126 inhabitants. Its surface area is about 10 km² and it has population density of 1097.24 inhabitants per km². It is at an altitude of 680 meters above sea level, and is 5 km from the centre of Granada.

Monteluz is a locality belonging to the municipality of Peligros in the province of Granada, community of Andalusia, Spain. It is placed in the central part of the region of the Vega of Granada. Near this locality are Albolote's Cores, Cortijo del Aire and El Chaparral. It started being constructed in the 80s, very close to the knot of the A-44 and A-92 motorways. The majority of the roads in this locality receive diverse names of trees, except for Monteluz avenue and Jupiter street. According to the National Institute of Statistics of Spain, Monteluz counted 1,154 inhabitants in 2011.

Maracena is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the city has a population of 18819 inhabitants. It is located in the central part of the Vega de Granada, being one of the fifty-two entities that make up the metropolitan area of Granada.It borders the municipalities of Peligros, Pulianas, Granada, Atarfe and Albolote. Other nearby towns are Pulianillas and Monteluz. The Granada metro, provides the town with a light metro link to central Granada and other towns of the Granada Metropolitan Area. .

Churriana de la Vega is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2017 census (INE), the city has a population of 14,556 inhabitants. It sits on the Genil River and crossed by several smaller streams, providing the farmers around it with water and rich soil. The first mention of Churriana de la Vega in writing comes from the 14th century Moorish polymath and writer Ibn al-Jatib. It was also the site of some of the negotiations for the final surrender of Grenada between the representatives of Boabdil and Isabella I of Castile

The Vega de Granada is a comarca (county, but with no administrative role) in the province of Granada, southeastern Spain. According to the 2007 census (INE), the comarca has a population of 500,121 inhabitants, which is over half the overall population of the province.

Las Gabias (commonly referred to as Gabia) is a Spanish city and municipality located in the central southern part of the Vega of Granada, in the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, approximately 8 km from the provincial capital of Granada. It borders the municipalities of Vegas del Genil, Cúllar Vega, Churriana de la Vega, Alhendín, La Malahá, Chimeneas and Santa Fe. Las Gabias includes the localities of "Gabia Grande", the municipal capital, and "Gabia Chica" that were a unified with the region in 1973, in addition to the annexation of Híjar, Los Llanos, Pedro Verde and San Javier. The name may have originated from Hisn Caviar, which means "military tower", in allusion to the one that still exists in Gabia Grande. It is one of the most populous municipalities in Spain as well as one of the youngest, with the median age of inhabitants being only 34.3 years of age. In 2016, the population of Las Gabias surpassed 20,000, making it the third most populous municipality in the Granada Metropolitan Area, surpassed only by Granada and Armilla.

Pulianas is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the city has a population of 4842 inhabitants.

Jun is a Spanish locality and township situated in the north-centre part of la Vega de Granada, in the province of Granada, autonomous community of Andalucía. It limits with the municipalities of Pulianas, Granada, Alfacar and Víznar. The municipality of Iundenia is one of the fifty two entities which make up the Metropolitan Area of Granada, and it is formed by Jun, Baltodano, and two streets of Pulianas: c/ Alhambra and c/ Generalife. It is located in the foothill of la Sierra de la Alfaguara, near river Juncaril.

Granada railway station is the main railway station of the Spanish city of Granada, Andalusia. The building dates back to the 19th century, but the facilities have been modernised over the years, most notably to accommodate AVE high-speed trains.
