Felbridge

The London to Brighton Way, also called the London to Portslade Way, is a Roman road between Stane Street at Kennington Park and Brighton (or more specifically Portslade) in Sussex. The road passes through Streatham and Croydon, then through the Caterham Valley gap in the North Downs. It passes through Godstone and Felbridge, then follows an almost straight line through Ardingly, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Hassocks to the South Downs at Clayton. At Hassocks it crosses the Sussex Greensand Way at a large Roman cemetery. It climbs the South Downs escarpment, crossing the ridgeway and connecting with other local tracks. South of Pyecombe the route is uncertain, and may have continued to Brighton or to Portslade. The road passed through some of the strategically important iron-producing areas of the Weald and was partly constructed from iron slag in those areas, although to a lesser extent than the London to Lewes Way.

Imberhorne School is a comprehensive school in East Grinstead, West Sussex, England, which admits children between the ages of 11 and 18. The school has a roll of 1,650, including 300 in the Sixth Form, and is on two sites, Windmill Lane and Imberhorne Lane. The headteacher is Mr Walker. In 2004, the school was awarded Artsmark Silver and Sportsmark for excellence in these areas. Many pupils achieve higher than average results and the school ranks within the top 10 in West Sussex. In 2008 GCSE results, 69% students achieved five or more A*–C passes, compared to a national average of 63%. The Sixth Form provides both academic, BTEC, and vocational courses.

Thedden Grange is a privately owned country house and estate in the civil parish of Bentworth, on the outskirts of Alton, Hampshire, England. Since renovation in the mid-1970s the original house, outbuildings and land have been divided into seven separate properties plus additional flats. The house and grounds have been used as locations in a number of films and television programmes. The estate covers 40 acres of land, among which are 9 acres of ornamental garden.

Hedgecourt is a 33.6-hectare (83-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Felbridge in Surrey. An area of 5-hectare (12-acre) is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.Hedgecourt Lake is an ancient mill pond formed by damming the Eden Brook. Other habitats are fen, grassland and woodland. There are wetland breeding birds such as water rail, mute swan, sedge warbler, kingfisher and tufted duck.

Imberdown is an electoral division of West Sussex in the United Kingdom, and returns one member to sit on West Sussex County Council.

The London England Temple (formerly the London Temple) is the 12th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and is located in Newchapel, Surrey, England. Despite its name, it is not located within London or Greater London. The temple serves church members in south Wales, the Channel Islands, southern parts of England, the Limerick District of Ireland, and Jordan.

Newchapel is a large hamlet in Surrey, England, that falls under the civil parish of Horne.. It lies on the A22 between Godstone and East Grinstead. It is the location of the London England Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The temple, only open to followers of that religious group, has a visitors' centre where their beliefs are explained; visitors can also stroll in the grounds. The closest villages are Lingfield, Felbridge, Copthorne and Blindley Heath.

Imberhorne Viaduct is a Grade II listed railway viaduct located in East Grinstead, West Sussex, South-East England. Closed in 1958, the structure was brought back into use as part of the preserved Bluebell Railway heritage line in 2013, allowing trains to continue to East Grinstead railway station.

Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts was a dance and performing arts school in the United Kingdom. Founded by the dance teacher Pauline Bush in Nottingham in 1914, and later with branches in Romford, Essex and London; it was bombed out during the Second World War and then moved to a former boys' school East Grinstead. The Romford branch closed in 1974 and the East Grinstead branch in 1989. After Pauline Bush's death, the school was run by her daughter Noreen and her husband Victor Leopold. Later their son Paul Kimm joined them, and he remained Principal until the school closed.

The A264 is an east–west road in southern England that runs from Pembury in west Kent to Five Oaks in West Sussex. There have been a number of notable changes in this important east–west route which follows the north Sussex border with Kent and Surrey. Originally the route started in Tunbridge Wells, the Pembury to Tunbridge Wells section being originally the A263. West of Tunbridge Wells, instead of following its northerly route to East Grinstead via Holtye and Hammerwood, which was the B2110 prior to about 1970, it followed what is now the B2110 through Groombridge and Hartfield to Forest Row, and multiplexed with the A22 to East Grinstead (which explains the present discontinuity in the B2110 at Forest Row and East Grinstead, the unexpected sharp right at Langton Green when travelling west, and unexpected left at East Grinstead when travelling east along the A264). Both routes are winding and narrow and both have bridges with single file traffic. West of East Grinstead, it multiplexes with the A22 to Felbridge. The section from the west of Felbridge as far as Three Bridges has been improved and partially rerouted. For many years there was no junction with the M23, and the route went through both Crawley and Horsham. In the late 1980s, it was rerouted along the newly constructed Copthorne Link Road to Junction 10 of the M23, and in the early 1990s was multiplexed south along the M23 to Junction 11 at Pease Pottage, and along the then newly constructed SW Crawley Bypass. The section west of Crawley was upgraded to dual carriageway, and the route now follows Horsham's Northern Bypass (opened 1989; traffic previously went through the town) to its junction with the A24, then multiplexes south with the A24 (West Bypass), now also dual carriageway, to Broadbridge Heath where instead of going through the village it follows its bypass together with the A281. The old route is followed southwest to Five Oaks and the A29. Thus, very little of the original A264 now carries that identifier.

East Grinstead railway station is one of the two southern termini of the Oxted line in the south of England and serves East Grinstead in West Sussex. It is 30 miles 4 chains (30.05 miles, 48.36 km) from London Bridge, although trains mostly run to and from London Victoria. The station is managed by Southern. The station was formerly divided into two levels: the higher-level platforms serving the Three Bridges to Tunbridge Wells Central Line, whilst the lower-level platforms received services from the Oxted line and the East Grinstead to Lewes Line. Only the lower-level platforms remain open today, the high level having closed in 1967 with the Three Bridges to Ashurst Junction line as part of the closure programme proposed by the Beeching Report. A third low-level platform has been constructed at the south of the station by the Bluebell Railway. Bluebell services began running south to Sheffield Park in 2013.
