Hiraoka Station (枚岡駅, Hiraoka-eki, station number: A14) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Higashiōsaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kintetsu Railway.

Namba (Japanese: 難波, IPA: [namba]) is a district in Chūō and Naniwa wards of Osaka, Japan. It is regarded as the center of Osaka's Minami (ja:ミナミ, "South") region. Its name came from a variation of Naniwa, the former name of Osaka. Namba hosts some of the city's main south-central railway terminals, as JR, Kintetsu, Nankai, Hanshin, and three Osaka Metro subway lines all have stations within this region.

Hiraoka Shrine (枚岡神社, Hiraoka-jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Higashiōsaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is the Ichinomiya of former Kawachi Province. The shrine's main festival is held annually on 1 February.

The Hanazono Rugby Stadium (東大阪市花園ラグビー場, Higashiōsaka-shi Hanazono Ragubī-ba) in Higashiosaka is the oldest rugby union stadium in Japan specifically dedicated to rugby. Its location is next to Hanazono Central Park (花園中央公園, Hanazono Chūō Kōen). Owned by the City of Higashiosaka, it opened in 1929 with a capacity of 27,346. It is the stage for the annual National High School Rugby Tournament held every year at the end of December and has hosted important international, Top League games. Hanazono is the home of the Kintetsu Liners rugby union team and J. League club, FC Osaka. The stadium was selected as one of the venues for 2019 Rugby World Cup (Japan) which was the first Rugby World Cup to be held in Asia.

It is a Chōsen gakkō: a North Korea-aligned school for Koreans in Japan. The government of Osaka Prefecture classifies the school as a "miscellaneous school".In July 2017, Judge Takahiro Nishida of the Osaka District Court ordered the government to include the School in its tuition waver program, determining that previous exclusions of the School were unlawful.
