Mount Saint Joseph Hospital (MSJ) is a community acute-care hospital located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Like St. Paul's Hospital in downtown Vancouver, Mount Saint Joseph is operated by Providence Health Care, a Roman Catholic faith-based care provider. In addition to acute care facilities, the hospital houses the Mount Saint Joseph Residence, a 100-bed long-term care facility.

Dude Chilling Park is a sign installation, originally created as a prank, which now has official public art status in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on the southwest corner of Guelph Park at the 2300 block of Brunswick Street in the Mount Pleasant area of the city. It references the park's sculpture "Reclining Figure".

Reclining Figure is a piece of public art exhibited in Vancouver's Guelph Park since 1991. Created by Denman Island-based Michael Dennis, it is considered "a famous East Vancouver icon" as well as a "focal point of the neighbourhood.""Reclining Figure" has featured in Guelph Park since 1991, leading to its facetious name, Dude Chilling Park. Initially carved in cedar, the original decayed and was replaced by a bronze cast in 2019, thanks in part to several community fundraising activities. An "update" of this sculpture was also exhibited at Van Dusen Gardens in a wood sculpture exhibit in 2013.

The Emily Carr University Library also known as the Ron Burnett Library + Learning Commons is an academic library focusing on art and design-related material located at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design Great Northern Way campus. The library is named after Ron Burnett, former university president. As of 2019, library is fine-free.

Great Northern Way Campus Ltd (GNWC) is a private limited company and educational enterprise located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is the offspring of a consortium of four local academic institutions (the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, each of whom own a 25% interest in the company) that has attracted significant public and private funding. The company is the trustee of the Great Northern Way Campus Trust, whose stated purpose is to create "a centre of convergence for arts and culture, digital media and the environment." At present, it manages a Master's degree in Digital Media, which admitted its first students in the Fall of 2007. The GNWC Trust has two principal activities: operating the Centre for Digital Media, which offers the Masters of Digital Media graduate degree, and revitalizing its land parcel to bring together business, academia and the general community into an emerging district for the digital and creative sectors. Eight projects, which include both new construction and renovations of existing buildings, are underway and several businesses in the digital media sector currently rent space on the campus.

The company's business model consists of taking junk or trash haulage, and giving it a "clean" image through branding and marketing.

The Heritage Hall is an historical building in Vancouver, dating back to 1914 and classified by the City as a designated heritage building. It is located on Main Street, in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. The building was designed by architect Archibald Campbell Hope to serve as a post office. Reportedly, the design was derived from a misdirected set of plans that were meant for another city in the Prairies, which got the smaller building meant to have been constructed here. In the 1970s the building was briefly occupied by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, before being transformed into a community arts venue in the following decade. The Hall stills keeps this function today, besides being used as a venue for weddings and other events.

Great Northern Way–Emily Carr is a planned underground station for the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It will be located at the intersection of Great Northern Way and Thornton Street adjacent to the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in the Strathcona neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is scheduled to open in 2025.During planning, the station was known simply as Great Northern Way. On September 17, 2020, the station was renamed to include reference to Emily Carr University.
