The artwork at this station reflects the historic Kenton neighborhood which it serves. Themes include the area's historic stockyards. A large Paul Bunyan Statue, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located across the street from the station. This station is the final stop on Interstate Avenue before the Yellow Line continues to the Expo Center on the Vanport Bridge, passing over Union Pacific railroad tracks, Columbia Boulevard, and the Columbia Slough.

Paul Bunyan Statue is a 31-foot-tall (9.4 m) concrete and metal sculpture of mythical logger Paul Bunyan in the Kenton neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, United States. It was built in 1959 to commemorate the centennial of Oregon's statehood during the Centennial Exposition and International Trade Fair, which was held in the Kenton area.

It was originally named North Portland Boulevard, but following the city's decision in fall 2006 to rename Portland Blvd. to Rosa Parks Way, TriMet indicated it would support the change by renaming the station, at a then-undetermined future date. The signs at the station continued to show the old name until Feb. 4, 2009, when a dedication ceremony was held, unveiling new signs renaming it as "Rosa Parks" station ("Way" being implied only). On TriMet's maps and other media, the station is shown as "N Rosa Parks Way". The station is located in the median of Interstate Avenue near the intersection of N Rosa Parks Way.
