Dorsington is a village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district, in the county of Warwickshire, England. Dorsington was in Gloucestershire until 1931, when it was transferred to Warwickshire. It is located 2¾ miles west of Milcote railway station. The place-name 'Dorsington' is first attested in an Anglo-Saxon charter of 710, where it appears as Dorsintone. It is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Dorsintune. The name means 'the town or settlement of Deorsige's people'. In the 2001 census, it had a population of 138 (64 males; 74 females; living in 49 houses). By the 2011 Census, the population had increased to 150. The parish church of St Peter's is a Grade II* listed building built in 1764–1768. Dorsington was the original centre of the Heart of England Forest, begun by the businessman and philanthropist Felix Dennis.

Honeybourne railway station serves the village of Honeybourne in Worcestershire, England. Opened in 1853, it is on the Cotswold Line and was formerly a busy junction with five platform faces, also serving trains on the Great Western Railway's Honeybourne Line between Cheltenham Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon, which formed part of a strategic route between the West Midlands and the West of England. The station was closed in 1969, after the withdrawal of stopping services to Stratford-upon Avon and closure to freight. The whole of the Stratford to Cheltenham line was closed in late August 1976, after derailment of some wagons on a goods train damaged a section of the track. Honeybourne was reopened in 1981, in connection with residential development near the station. The Heritage Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway have reopened the 14-mile section of the 22-mile-long Honeybourne Line, between Broadway and Cheltenham Racecourse, and hopes to extend its operations a further 5 miles, to Honeybourne, for which Network Rail has made passive provision.

Long Marston railway station was a station at Long Marston, Warwickshire on the Great Western Railway line between Stratford-upon-Avon and Honeybourne, which became part of the Great Western Railway's new main line between Birmingham and Cheltenham.

The Heart of England Forest is a charity committed to helping reverse centuries of woodland decline in England. The Heart of England Forest is located principally in South Warwickshire with some woodland in Worcestershire. The forest stretches from the Forest of Arden south to the edge of the Vale of Evesham.To date, the charity has planted more than 1.3 million trees across 3,000 acres of new woodland between Honeybourne (Worcestershire) to the south and the Spernall Estate (Warwickshire) to the north. Additionally, they have protected and manage a further 600 acres of ancient woodland. The charity was founded by Felix Dennis, and is now headed by a board of five trustees, led by the chairman, Jon Snow who was appointed in June 2014.

Long Marston is a village about 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, England. The southern and western boundaries of the parish form part of the county boundary with Worcestershire. The civil parish is called Marston Sicca. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 436.

Marston Sicca was, from 1894 to 1931, a rural district in the administrative county of Gloucestershire, England. The district formed part of a salient of Gloucestershire nearly surrounded by Warwickshire and Worcestershire. In 1931 the boundaries of the three counties were adjusted. The rural district was abolished and its area transferred to Warwickshire.

HM Prison Long Lartin is a Category A men's prison, located in the village of South Littleton (near Evesham) in the Wychavon district in Worcestershire, England. It is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service.

Mickleton Halt was a railway station on the Great Western Railway line between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill to serve Mickleton and the surrounding villages. The route is now called the Cotswold Line. Building of halt was first announced in June 1937. It had two platforms with shelters and cost £512 to build. It was opened on Monday 8 November 1937 with six daily services in each direction on weekdays and an additional service on Saturdays.The halt was closed on 6 October 1941.

Aston Subedge (also written Aston-sub-Edge) is a village and civil parish in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England, close by the border with Worcestershire (to the west). According to the 2001 census the population was 55, increasing to 107 at the 2011 census. The village is about 8 miles east of Evesham, and near the village of Weston-sub-Edge. The church of St Andrew was built in 1797 by Thomas Johnson of Warwick. Christopher Savage, Lord of Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, and an Esquire of the Body of King Henry VIII, had livery of the manor of Aston-sub-Edge on 14 May 1521, which he had inherited from his father, Sir Christopher Savage, Knt., (who fell at the Battle of Flodden in 1513) who had acquired it by his marriage to Anne, daughter of Sir John Stanley, Knt., of Elford, Staffordshire (d. Nov 1508)Dover's Hill lies about 1 mile (2 km) to the south of Aston Subedge. In the 1630s Endymion Porter, a courtier and diplomat who lived at Aston-sub-Edge, brought members of the court to see the Cotswold Olympics which were held on Dover's Hill.
