Center Township is one of seventeen townships in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,726.

KGRR (97.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an active rock format to the Dubuque, Iowa, United States, area. The station is licensed to Radio Dubuque, Inc. Its transmitter is located alongside U.S. Highway 20 between Dubuque and Peosta on top of the U.S. 20 Bluff. KGRR was used as the radio station call letters in an episode of 'The Twilight Zone' Nightsong (TV episode 1986 #2.6). The frequency on the show was 93.3 FM and it was located somewhere in California. On March 1, 2010, KGRR shifted from a classic rock format to a mainstream rock format as "97.3 The Rock". On-air staff include Program Director and Morning Show host Johnny Rhodes, and Zach Dillon on afternoons. Chuck Armstrong and Loudwire Nights is on every weeknight 7p-12mid. The Dunleith and Dubuque Bridge, also known as the White Water Creek Bridge and the Bergfeld Recreation Area Bridge, is a historic structure located in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. This span was part of a seven-span approach to one of the first bridges constructed over the Mississippi River. It was part of a railroad bridge that connected Dubuque with Dunleith, Illinois, now known as East Dubuque. The bridge was fabricated by the Keystone Bridge Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andrew Carnegie himself traveled to Dubuque to advocate for his company to build the bridge. The bridge was erected by Reynolds, Saulpaugh and Company of Rock Island, Illinois. The approach, of which this iron truss was a part, was completed in 1872. It was used by the Illinois Central and other railroads. By the end of the 19th century the bridge was no longer strong enough to carry the heavier trains then in use, and it was replaced. Dubuque County acquired two of the approach spans, including this one, in 1890. One was placed over the Cloie Branch of the Maquoketa River near Sageville. This one was placed over White Water Creek east of Cascade. In 1996 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The span was removed in 1999 and stored at a nearby farm until 2010 when it was moved to the Bergfeld Recreation Area in western Dubuque. The White Water Creek Bridge was removed from the National Register in 2012. It was relisted as the Dunleith and Dubuque Bridge the following year.

Asbury is a city in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States, and adjacent to the westside of the city of Dubuque. It is part of the Dubuque, Iowa Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,943 at the 2020 census. Asbury is the second-largest city in Dubuque County, surpassing Dyersville to become the second-largest in the 2010 U.S. Census count. The city is largely a bedroom community, made up of subdivisions whose residents work in Dubuque or Peosta.

Stephen Hempstead High School (commonly Hempstead or HHS) is a four-year public high school located in Dubuque, Iowa. It is one of two high schools in the Dubuque Community School District and enrolls around 1,800 students in grades 9–12. The school is named in honor of Stephen Hempstead, the second governor of Iowa, and it competes in class 4A of the Iowa High School Athletic Association as part of the Mississippi Valley Conference. The school's mascot is the Mustang.

Cloie Branch (sometimes referred to as Cloie Creek) is a 5.4-mile-long (8.7 km) tributary of the Little Maquoketa River, rising in the northern part of the city of Asbury, in Dubuque County, Iowa. Burgeoning suburban development in the city of Asbury has encroached the upper reaches of the system. The northern end of the system is rural. Asbury's sewer outfall drains into the creek and mechanical failures have in the past lead to the discharge of only partially treated sewage.

Center Grove, Iowa was a town located just to the west of Dubuque, Iowa. It is located in section 27 of Dubuque Township. It is named Center as it was believed to be the center of the mining district. Center Grove was located near what today is known as U.S. Highway 20 and Devon Drive.

The Round Barn, Dubuque Township is a historic building located in Dubuque Township in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States. It was built in 1915 as a dairy barn. The building is a true round barn that measures 60 feet (18 m) in diameter. The structure is constructed in clay tile from the Johnston Brothers' Clay Works and it features a windowed cupola and dormers on the north and west sides.

KLYV (105.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Top 40 (CHR) format branded as Y105, serving the Dubuque, Iowa, United States, area. The station is owned by Townsquare Media and licensed to Townsquare License, LLC.The station has been a "typical" Top 40 station since 1982, and a CHR station since 1986. The station first went under the formats of MOR in the 1970s, and Beautiful Music beginning in 1980. The station dropped the beautiful music format in 1982 for an AOR-leaning Top 40 format, and its KIWI call letters changed to KLYV. Its AOR-lean dropped in 1986 when more contemporary titles were added. On August 30, 2013, a deal was announced in which Cumulus Media would swap its stations in Dubuque (including KLYV) and Poughkeepsie, New York, to Townsquare Media in exchange for Peak Broadcasting's stations in Fresno, California. The deal was part of Cumulus' acquisition of Dial Global; Townsquare, Peak, and Dial Global were all controlled by Oaktree Capital Management. The sale to Townsquare was completed on November 14, 2013. As of March 2022, the flagship program is the morning show, hosted by Steve Pulaski, which airs from 6 - 10 am weekdays.
