Fountain Plaza (formerly Huron) is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located in the 500 block of Main Street between Huron and Chippewa Streets. Fountain Plaza serves the northern section of the Buffalo Downtown Central Business District and the Buffalo Theater District since the permanent closing of Theater station on February 18, 2013. Fountain Plaza is at the north end of the Free Fare Zone, where customers traveling north are required to have proof-of-payment.

School 13, also known as Boys Vocational High School and Buffalo Alternative High School, is a historic school building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It was built about 1915, and is a three-story, steel framed building sheathed in brick and terra cotta with Beaux-Arts style design elements. The "T"-shaped building housed administrative offices, classrooms, a gymnasium, swimming pool, and two-story auditorium. The building housed a school until 2003.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

50 Fountain Plaza, formerly the Key Center North Tower, is a high-rise located in Buffalo, New York, USA. It is the eighth tallest building in Buffalo at 275 feet (85 m) and 17 stories tall. The building has a twin tower next door, 40 Fountain Plaza (formerly Key Center South Tower) which is four stories shorter and connected by a two-story glass atrium encompassing 18,800 square feet of retail space. Once known as the Key Center, the complex is now simply known as Fountain Plaza after KeyBank moved out. Both buildings have distinctive pyramid tops that are trimmed with bright green neon lighting which is illuminated at night. In the front of the two towers is a large fountain in the summer. In the winter, it serves as an outdoor ice rink that is free to the public.

The Century Theatre, later known as New Century Theatre, was a 3,076-seat theater located at 511 Main Street in Buffalo, New York. It opened in 1921 as a movie theater and was later used as a rock concert venue in the 1970s. Notable past performers include Cheap Trick, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Kansas, Starcastle, The Kinks, Rush and Fleetwood Mac.

Shea's Hippodrome Theatre was a movie house that opened in 1914 in Buffalo, New York. It was renamed the Center Theater, following a renovation in 1951. In 1983, the theater closed and the building was demolished.

Lafayette Square (officially Evans Bank @ Lafayette Square since November 8, 2019 for sponsorship purposes) is a Buffalo Metro Rail station near City Hall and is near the center of the Buffalo Central Business District at Lafayette Square located in the 400 block of Main Street (between Lafayette Square and Mohawk Streets) in the Free Fare Zone, which allows passengers free travel between Erie Canal Harbor station and Fountain Plaza station. Passengers continuing northbound past Fountain Plaza are required to have proof-of-payment. Lafayette Square station is the closest to the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, located one block east at Washington and Clinton Streets. On February 28, 2019, The Buffalo News announced that Evans Bank, which opened its downtown headquarters in the Main-Court Building the previous October, bought the naming rights to the station for nearly $161,000 for five years and nearly $352,000 if extended to 10 years.

WYRK (106.5 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Buffalo, New York, and serving Western New York. It is owned by Townsquare Media and it broadcasts a country music radio format. The studios and offices are on Lafayette Square in Buffalo in the Rand Building, 12th Floor. WYRK has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts. The transmitter is atop the Rand Building.

WMSX (96.1 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Buffalo, New York, calling itself 96.1 The Breeze. WMSX has a soft adult contemporary radio format, switching to Christmas music for much of November and December. It is owned by Townsquare Media and has its radio studios in the Rand Building on Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo. WMSX has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 47,000 watts. It is the oldest urban FM radio station in the U.S. The station also regularly ranks in the top 5 radio stations in Buffalo's Nielsen ratings. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 47,000 watts. The transmitter is atop the Rand Building in Downtown Buffalo and the studios are on a lower floor of the building.

The Buffalo Theatre District in downtown Buffalo, New York, United States, is the center of Buffalo's theater scene and draws Broadway shows that are in preview stage or on tour. It is bounded roughly by Washington, Tupper, Pearl and Chippewa Streets.
