It developed between about 1892 and 1945 and includes representative examples of Queen Anne, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the Blistain Axel Merritt House (1914), John Wagner Jr. House (c. 1893), John Ross House (c. 1895), and Bicycle Bridge (1924).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Loeb Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Columbian Park in Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It is the home field for the Lafayette Aviators, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Prospect League; for the Jefferson High School Bronchos baseball team; and for Black Cat FC in the United Premier Soccer League. Opened in 2021, Loeb Stadium has a capacity of 2,600 people.

The Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art is a public museum in Lafayette, Indiana, housing the largest collection of Indiana art anywhere in the world. The museum is located in the Potter-Haan Mansion at 920 E State Street. The museum's collection includes over 100 paintings by Hoosier Group, Indiana Regionalism artists as well as ceramics, antique furniture and decorative items. The museum is a member of American Alliance of Museums. The museum is based on the private collection of Robert (Bob) and Ellen (Ellie) Haan, the founders and former owners of Haan Crafts Corporation.

It was primarily used for baseball and had most recently been the home of the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League. Previously, it was the home of Ohio Valley Redcoats of the independent Frontier League, and later the Lafayette Leopards of the now defunct Great Central League.

The district encompasses 88 contributing buildings and 6 contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of Lafayette. It developed between about 1850 and 1946 and includes representative examples of Gothic Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, Greek Revival, and Second Empire style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Judge Cyrus Ball House. Other notable contributing resources include the Samuel Moore House (1891), Moore-Porter-Boswell House (1895), Stanley Coulter House (1890), Edward Bohrer House (1909), Thomas Wood House (c. 1850), Job M. Nash House (1859), and Gordon Graham House (c. 1900).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Judge Cyrus Ball House, also known as the Ball Mansion and Carriage House, is a historic home located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built in 1868–1869, and is a two-story, Second Empire style brick dwelling, with a three-story mansard roofed entrance tower. It sits on a limestone foundation, has intricate wood and stone detailing, and a slate roof. Also on the property is a contributing two-story, rectangular carriage house.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located in the Ninth Street Hill Neighborhood Historic District.

The county is best known for Purdue University, the 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe, and the Tippecanoe County Courthouse, a structure built in 1881 and included in the National Register of Historic Places. Tippecanoe County is part of the Lafayette, Indiana, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Columbian Park Zoo is a seasonal zoo located in Lafayette, Indiana at Columbian Park. The zoo is home to more than 190 animals from over 90 species. The zoo is in Columbian Park, which also includes playgrounds, picnic areas, a walking trail, and a baseball stadium.

Scott Street Pavilion is a historic park pavilion located in Columbian Park at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built in 1899, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular, wood-frame building. It is sheathed in clapboard siding and has a hipped roof that extends to form a verandah on all sides.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
