St Ursula's School Private school in Henleaze, Bristol, England. It consisted of a Junior Department, providing education for pupils up to age 11. In 2010, St Ursula's went into administration after it became financially unviable due to falling pupil numbers. It was temporarily saved by the Bristol City Council, which bought the school site, and Community Learning, a subsidiary of the Oasis Trust. This led to the opening of School Westbury' as an interim measure during the 2010/2011 academic year. Oasis Community Learning operated the school with a one-year lease and closed it in July 2011. At the start of the 2011/2012 academic year, Bristol Council allocated the site to St Ursula's E-ACT Academy, the first primary academy in Bristol.In January 2015, St Ursula's was given a good rating by Ofsted which remains sponsored by E-ACT

Westbury College Gatehouse (grid reference ST573775) is a 15th-century gatehouse to the 13th-century College of Priests located in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, England, and now a National Trust property.

The Old Lodge, also known as the Thatched Cottage and 166 Henleaze Road, is a notable landmark in Henleaze in Bristol, England. According to Reece Winstone, writing in 1970, this is the only privately owned thatched house in Bristol.The house was built around 1810 and was formerly one of two former lodge houses to Henleaze Park, the residence of Samuel and Walter Derham. Henleaze Park later became St Margaret's School before being demolished in 1962.It is a few miles from Blaise Hamlet, John Nash's collection of picturesque cottages. Although this cottage is very similar in character and was built around the same time, it has never been verified that John Nash also built this property.The lodge's most unusual feature is the spy window on the ground floor that would have enabled the lodge keeper to view passing coaches from either the sitting or dining room. It is a Grade II listed building, first listed in 1977.

Badminton School is an independent, boarding and day school for girls aged 3 to 18 years situated in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, England. Bristol Free School (BFS) is a Secondary Academy which opened in Southmead, Bristol, England, in September 2011.BFS has capacity for 790 pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and capacity for 300 in its Sixth Form, which opened in September 2016. The school is located in the Westbury on Trym and Southmead ward areas, at former Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and Environment Agency offices, which were converted or rebuilt for use by the school. Bristol Free School is secular and non-selective.

Westbury Park is a suburb of the city of Bristol, United Kingdom. It lies to the east of Durdham Down between the districts of Redland and Henleaze. The area is very similar in character to nearby Redland and comprises mainly Victorian and early twentieth-century architecture, along with a selection of Georgian buildings. Many of these buildings still have their original house names and many Victorian artifacts have been found in the gardens of Westbury Park. The area was once part of the parish of Westbury-on-Trym, from which it takes its name. Westbury Park Primary School lies in the southern side of the area and was established in 1893.Major roads within Westbury Park include North View, Coldharbour Road, Linden Road and Redland Road.

St Christopher's School (later known as Aurora St Christopher's School) was located in Bristol, England. It was a special needs residential independent school for around 50 children and young people aged 7 to 25, who had severe and complex learning difficulties, or profound and multiple learning difficulties. They all had specific requirements for their care and education.Many of the pupils had language and communication disorders, some had physical disabilities and some displayed challenging behaviour. Some of the additional conditions were autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, Rett syndrome and Angelman syndrome.In December 2015 it was announced that the school was to close, but in January 2016 it was taken over by The Aurora Group, allowing it to remain open. However the school did close in 2020.

Wesley College was a theological college in the Henbury area of Bristol, England, between 1946 and 2012. As the successor to an institution established in London in 1834, it was the oldest provider of theological education for the Methodist Church of Great Britain. The college was the core institution of the South West Regional Training Network of the Methodist Church, where its partners were the South West Ministerial Training Course in Exeter and the Southern Theological Education and Training Scheme in Salisbury. It was also involved with ecumenical education.

Wills Hall is one of more than twenty halls of residence in the University of Bristol. It is located high on the Stoke Bishop site on the edge of the Bristol Downs, and houses c. 370 students in two quadrangles. Almost all of these students are in their first year of study.
