West Midland Safari and Leisure Park is a safari park located in Bewdley in Worcestershire, England. It was opened under the name of West Midland Safari Park in Spring 1973. The park holds over 165 species of exotic animals and features other attractions such as a small theme park. The park contains the largest groups of white lions, cheetahs, hippopotamuses and meerkats in the UK, as well as the largest lemur walk-through exhibit. It was also the first park in the UK to have the African big five game animals.The park is a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). The Dhole and Cheetah enclosures in the drive-through safari are part of a larger heathland Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), which the park is restoring.

Kidderminster Register Office is the former Register Office for the town of Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England. As such, it was a designated venue for the performance of civil marriage ceremonies.The listed building was formerly part of King Charles I School. The wedding room is over 30 feet (9.1 m) high, and has a beamed and vaulted oak ceiling, oak panelled walls and stone-mullioned high arched windows. The location is now a dance studio and the former grounds and attached education centre has been developed into a small housing estate.

Rifle Range Halt was a short-lived unstaffed request stop on the GWR Kidderminster to Bewdley loop line which now forms part of the Severn Valley Railway. It was located west of Bewdley tunnel near the “Devil’s Spittleful”, the sandstone outcrop on the nature reserve now managed by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.

Since 2011, Wyre Forest has formed part of the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership along with neighbouring authorities Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Redditch, Solihull and Tamworth. In Wyre Forest, the population size has increased by 3.7%, from around 98,000 in 2011 to 101,600 in 2021.

Foley Park Halt was the first stop on the GWR Kidderminster to Bewdley loop line which now forms part of the Severn Valley Railway. It was located in the Kidderminster suburb of Foley Park where the railway went under the A451 Stourport Road. Facilities included a single wooden platform, a ticket booth and a Pagoda Platform Shelter.
