South Gwinnett High School (SGHS) is a public high school for students in grades 9–12. The school is located in Snellville, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools system, one of the 15 largest public school systems in the country. South Gwinnett is home to about 2,800 students. The school pulls from much of Southeastern Gwinnett county, including areas of Snellville and rural residential areas of Loganville. The oldest of the four high schools in southeastern Gwinnett County, Snellville Consolidated High School was formed by the 1957 merger of Snellville High School (founded in 1923) and Grayson High School. As Gwinnett County saw extremely rapid population growth in the 1980s, Shiloh High School and Brookwood High School were opened to accommodate the rapid growth in South Gwinnett's school district. As Gwinnett County continued to see more students enter its system, South Gwinnett's district was split in half in 2000, when Grayson High School was "re-opened" at a new facility in Loganville.

The Shoppes at Webb Gin is a retail complex located in unincorporated Gwinnett County, near Snellville, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The retail complex is located along Scenic Highway North (also known as Georgia State Route 124) and Webb Gin House Road, 26 miles northeast from Downtown Atlanta.

Brookwood High School is a public secondary school in Snellville, Georgia, in suburban Atlanta, part of the Gwinnett County School System. Brookwood serves several areas of southern Gwinnett County, including Snellville, Lawrenceville, and Lilburn.

Alton C. Crews Middle School is part of the Brookwood Cluster of Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States, and is part of Gwinnett County Public Schools. Ms. Cindy Moffett is the new school principal. Founded in 1996, the school is named after Dr. Alton C. Crews (1924–1996), a 13-year former superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools (1977–1989) and the first Georgian to break the sound barrier.With student population rising every year, the addition of classroom trailers has been constant. An addition to the school was completed in 2007-2008. There is a total of 14 classrooms - ten regular education classrooms and four for resource. New renovations, including a new computer lab, were added as of August 2007. As of 2008, the school had more than 1,400 students. In 2002 or 2003, after a tour of the technology laboratory at the school, the education minister for Curaçao invited teacher Janet Blanchette to visit that country and help train their teachers, since the school system there was in the middle of a technology upgrade.

Grayson is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. The 2020 estimated population of Grayson, GA is 4740 people. The population was 2,666 at the 2010 census, up from 765 in 2000.

Five Forks is an unincorporated community in Gwinnett County in the U.S. state of Georgia near the intersections of River Road, Five Forks Trickum, Oak Road and Dogwood Road. It is a former mail-stop served from the mid-1800s to early 1900s by the Yellow River Post Office and still appears on maps as a small unincorporated community between Snellville and Lawrenceville. It is connected to another nearby mail-stop called Trickum by the unusually named Five Forks Trickum Road. Currently, the center of Five Forks is home to some restaurants and shopping centers, as well as relatively new Ronald Reagan Park across the street from the Five Forks Library branch.

Centerville is an unincorporated community in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. Centerville is located south of Snellville and is situated around the intersections of State Routes 124 and 264. A part of Rockdale County may also be considered to be in Centerville.

Rosebud is an unincorporated community located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States.

Shiloh High School is a public high school located in Snellville, Georgia, United States, in southern Gwinnett County. The school is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools system and opened in 1984. It serves students in the Shiloh Cluster, which feeds from the Anderson Livsey, Annistown, Centerville, Partee, and Shiloh Elementary Schools and Shiloh Middle School. The school mascot is the General, and the school colors are black, silver, and white. Shiloh, like Peachtree Ridge, was on block scheduling, and until the 2015-2016 school year, was on a regular six-period day starting 2008-2009, but is now again on a block schedule. The school mascot and colors were selected through a student contest before it officially opened in 1984. Eve Embry (Class of 1986) designed the emblem, which appears on the old gym floor.

Grayson High School is located in Loganville, Georgia and has an enrollment of over 3,100 students. The school pulls students from many areas of southeastern Gwinnett County, mainly Grayson, Loganville, and Lawrenceville.

Gloster is an unincorporated community in Gwinnett County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.

Vines Botanical Gardens (25 acres) are botanical gardens located at 3500 Oak Grove Road, Loganville, Georgia, United States. They are open daily; no admission fee is charged. The themed gardens include annuals, perennials, display garden, water garden, garden railroad, and a rose garden, as well as an arboretum, Swan Lake (3.5 acres), Koi pond, fountains and the Manor House. The property also contains a restaurant, and special events rooms.
