The Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (also called the Gwinnett County Courthouse or GJAC) is a courthouse and administrative center for Gwinnett County, Georgia located in the county seat of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Gwinnett's Fallen Heroes Memorial is located at 75 Langely Drive in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and was dedicated on Memorial Day 2003. It honors Gwinnett County soldiers, police and firefighters who died in the line of duty. The memorial honors roughly 700 people, organized by categories of service. Their names, in random order and without rank, are carved on 13 black granite markers that are nine feet tall. A central pedestal holds a Vic McCallum bronze sculpture of an eagle carrying a "Remembrance" rose.

The Old Seminary Building, also known as Old Masonic Lodge or Lawrencevile Female Seminary Building, is a building in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA, that was built in 1854 in Greek Revival and Federal style. It was originally constructed as a school but has had various tenants through the years, most notably Lawrenceville Lodge No. 131 Free and Accepted Masons, who used the second story of the building for meetings for more than a century. It is 36 by 51 feet (11 m × 16 m) in plan; its two floors have 12 feet (3.7 m) ceilings.Later, it housed the Gwinnett History Museum and was open by appointment with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is an historic government building located at 185 West Crogan Street in Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The original county courthouse burned in 1872. The present day Courthouse was built in 1885. It served as the center of county business for over a century. As the population of the county grew, the Courthouse could no longer handle all of the county's business. In 1988, Gwinnett County moved the majority of its operations into the new Justice and Administration Building located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. The old Courthouse underwent a lengthy three year renovation starting in 1989. It reopened on July 3, 1992, as the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse. Today, it serves as a rental venue for weddings, concerts, conferences, and other special events. It is one of the parks maintained by the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department. On September 18, 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 1993, a statue commemorating the Confederate States was erected outside the courthouse with an inscription of "1861–1865 Lest We Forget". The statue stood until February 2021, when it was removed and placed in storage as part of the removal of Confederate monuments and memorials that occurred in the months following the George Floyd protests. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved the change, saying the monument was not consistent with the modern values of the county.

Central Gwinnett High School is a public high school in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. The school is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. Jordan Middle School and Moore Middle School are its feeders.

The Hooper-Renwick School is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and was Gwinnett County, Georgia's only black public high school in the 1950s to 1960s, until the end of segregated education in the county. Hull Elementary was the county's only Black elementary school during this same time period. The Hooper-Renwick School merged with the Gwinnett County School system in the 1960s and has since served a variety of other purposes within the Gwinnett County Public School System. Plans are currently underway to transition the building into a library and Black history museum.

Phoenix High School is an open-campus public high school in Gwinnett County, Georgia, a suburb north of Atlanta, and a part of the Gwinnett County Public School System, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. Phoenix offers childcare for parents who wish to attend class. The school does not offer extra-curricular activities. The school's website states that this allows students to better focus on academics.

The Gwinnett County Public Library is located in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States, northeast of Atlanta. The library currently has 15 branches throughout the county and employs an interlibrary loan system for those with a valid library card. In 2000 the Gwinnett County Public Library won the Library of the Year award. In 2009 it also won the John Cotton Dana Award, which is the most prestigious of all library awards in the field of public relations and marketing. This library system has also achieved the highest amounts of material circulation out of all libraries in Georgia.

Northside Hospital Gwinnett (formerly Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville) is a hospital with 353 acute care beds in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. The hospital was previously the main operation of the overall Gwinnett Medical Center system of hospitals and medical centers serving Gwinnett County, Georgia, until it merged in 2019 with the Northside Hospital system of Atlanta, Georgia. It was renamed at the time of the merger, with Northside Hospital Gwinnett and the other former Gwinnett system facilities being dubbed as Northside Hospital system's "Gwinnett health care campuses".

Georgia Gwinnett College (Georgia Gwinnett or GGC) is a public college in Lawrenceville, Georgia. It is a member of the University System of Georgia. Georgia Gwinnett College opened on August 18, 2006. It has grown from its original 118 students in 2006 to approximately 12,000 students in 2019.

The William Terrell Homeplace in Gwinnett County, Georgia near Lawrenceville is a historic site which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It was a two-story Plantation Plain-style plantation house, which in 1982 was the sole house on a 29 acres (12 ha) property. The house was built around 1827. It included Federal-style details including in its mantelpiece.Around 1862 the house, then on an 870 acres (350 ha) tract, was inherited by William's wife's son, a lawyer named Kenan T. Terrell (1826–1884). Kenan was a Justice of the Inferior Court of Gwinnett County before the American Civil War. During the war he served as a captain in the Confederate army. After the war, he continued on the plantation with cotton, corn, and sugar cane crops. He was appointed to the county board of education in 1876, and was otherwise active in county affairs.Another contributing structure on the property was included in the listing.Some information for the listing was provided by C. Larry Mabrey, the owner in 1981 who was a step-great-great grandson of William Terrell and who was renovating the house. The house had always been occupied by Terrell descendents.The house unfortunately was largely destroyed in a fire on April 12, 1987.It appears that the remains were demolished; its former location appears to be within what is now the Timber Gate neighborhood or housing development, which does not include any such historic house.

Fairview Presbyterian Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA, is the state's oldest still-running Presbyterian church, first opening on Sunday, August 10, 1823. The church consists of four distinct areas: a sanctuary, a fellowship hall, a graveyard, and an office/Sunday school worship building. Despite its age, it is well cared for, receiving updates and repairs whenever and wherever they are needed, including but not limited to, pews, security cameras, extra rooms, and a speaker system. The only thing that hasn't changed is the overall look from the exterior; the siding is still the same style, and the stained-glass windows are the originals.
