Beltring railway station is on the Medway Valley Line in Kent, England, serving the village of Beltring. It is 36 miles 50 chains (58.9 km) down the line from London Charing Cross via Paddock Wood and is situated between Paddock Wood and Yalding. The station and all trains that call are operated by Southeastern.

Teapot Island is a teapot museum in Kent, England. The museum grew from the personal teapot collection of owner Sue Blazye, which started when her grandmother gave her a teapot in 1983, encouraging other family members and friends to do the same. The growth of her collection eventually led to her needing a larger space to house it, and she established Teapot Island in Yalding, in November 2002. The building used for the collection used to be a cafe called the Riverside Diner, which had been in operation since the 1950s. The collection has been valued at £15,000.Teapot Island was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2004, for being the largest collection of teapots. The museum lost this title in 2011, when it was awarded to a man in China with a collection of 30,000. In 2011, the museum was featured in the book Crap Days Out, in which the authors stated: "It's awful if you don't like teapots. But it's probably all right if you do."

Yalding Gardens were demonstration gardens open to the public near Yalding, Kent in April 1995. Originally established by the organic gardening charity HDRA (now called Garden Organic), the gardens were established to show a range of organically maintained kitchen and other garden types throughout history. Visitors could explore the history of gardening through 18 gardens set in five acres of Kent countryside. The 13th-century apothecary's garden and Victorian artisan's glasshouse demonstrated the unique results yielded through organic gardening methods. In 2007, the gardens were closed due to lack of funding. However, in 2008, the site was leased by its owners, the Congelow Trust, to Maro Foods, but it was closed again in December 2009. The gardens re-opened as “The Yalding Gardens and Bushel Box Farmshop and Cafe” on 12 June 2010–only to close again in October 2011. Since 2017 it has been a spring and summer wedding venue The Gardens Yalding. The 'Friends of Yalding Organic Gardens' (FOYOG) has been formed with the aim of trying to secure a sound and sustainable future for the Gardens, and their website can be found at www.foyog.org

Yalding is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Maidstone in Kent, England. The village is situated 6 miles (9.7 km) south west of Maidstone at a point where the Rivers Teise and Beult join the River Medway. At the 2001 census, the parish, which includes the villages of Benover, Laddingford and Queen Street, had a population of 2,236. increasing to 2,418 at the 2011 Census. There are three bridges in the village; the Twyford Bridge (meaning twin ford, where there was originally a double crossing of the two rivers) is one of the finest medieval bridges in the south-east of England. Yalding was one of the principal shipment points on the River Medway for cannon, from villages of the Wealden iron industry. One iron master was John Browne from Horsmonden. The wharf was later used for transporting fruit from the many orchards in the area.

Benover is a rural settlement in the Maidstone district of Kent, in the south east of England. It lies on the B2162 road and is almost ten miles (16 km) by road south west of the town; its nearest village is Yalding. The local inn is The Woolpack.

Beltring is a village in the local government district of Tonbridge and Malling in Kent, England. It is in the civil parish of East Peckham. Beltring is known for the annual War and peace show which takes place at The Hop Farm Country Park. Until recently the farm was owned by the Whitbread brewery, but it is now a privately owned country park, and boasts the world's largest collection of Oast houses.Beltring & Branbridges Halt railway station opened on 1 September 1909, on the Medway Valley Line.

The Hop Farm is a 400-acre (1.6 km2) Country Park in Beltring, near East Peckham in the English county of Kent. The farm is over 450 years old and has the largest collection of oast houses in the world.

Nettlestead Green, like its near neighbour Nettlestead, lies in the Medway valley southwest of Maidstone in Kent. It has a church and a 17th-century pub. The railway station for Yalding is actually closer to Nettlestead Green than to its own village, which lies on the opposite side of the River Medway. It was here on 26 June 1944 that Warrant Officer R.A.B ("Red") Blumer RAAF died when his Spitfire crashed. A memorial has been erected to his memory, and on the Saturday closest to 26 June each year a memorial service is held at the crash site. Blumer's portrait, and four information panels, hang in the village pub.
