WMMO (98.9 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Orlando, Florida. It is owned by the Cox Media Group, and airs a classic hits radio format that leans toward classic rock. Most songs heard on WMMO were hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, on both the Top 40 charts and on the Album Rock charts. WMMO's studios and offices are located in Orlando on North John Young Parkway (Route 423).The transmitter tower is off Park Hamilton Boulevard in Pine Hills. The site is shared with WTLN, owned by the Salem Media Group.

WTLN (990 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station located in Orlando, Florida. It is owned by the Salem Media Group and it airs a Christian talk and teaching radio format. The offices and studios are on Lake View Drive in Altamonte Springs. Some of the national religious leaders heard on WTLN include David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, Jim Daly, John MacArthur and Charles Stanley. Hosts pay for 30- to 60-minute segments on WTLN and can use the time to seek donations to their ministries. WTLN is known as "AM 990 and FM 101.5 The Word." WTLN broadcasts by day at 50,000 watts, the maximum power for commercial AM stations, covering much of Central Florida. It uses a directional antenna at all times, and must protect co-channel WMYM in Miami and WGML in Georgia. At night, when radio waves travel further, power is reduced to 14,000 watts, with its signal directional towards the east, to protect clear channel station CBW in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Maynard Evans High School is a high school located in Orlando, Florida, United States, served by Orange County Public Schools. The school's name is often shortened to "Evans High School" or "E-HIGH", and the mascot for the school are the Trojans. It primarily serves students from Pine Hills, in addition to some students from nearby Clarcona and Lockhart. The original main campus is located on Silver Star Road at the intersection of Pine Hills Road. Starting in 2010, the entire school was demolished and completely rebuilt; with construction completed in December 2011. The new campus reopened in 2012.Evans High's academic performance, based upon results of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), was consistently rated at a "D" or "F". However, the school improved in 2011 by earning a "C" for the first time in the school's history. As of the 2012-2013 school year, Evans received its first "B" in the school's history. The 9th Grade Center served as the main campus during construction, and the new campus was opened for classes on January 3, 2012.

W283AN (104.5 FM) is an FM translator station licensed to cover Orlando, Florida. It rebroadcasts a mainstream urban format from the HD2 subchannel of WTKS-FM. The station, which was launched on February 12, 2014, is owned and operated by iHeartMedia. The station launched the day after WJHM shifted from Rhythmic CHR to Top 40/CHR. The station first signed on in 2007 as an FM translator for WREH-FM, carrying “ReachFM” programming. Reach Communications sold its translators along with others in the state of Florida, W283AN and W246BO (now W245CL), in 2012 and 2014 to rebroadcast WFLF and WYGM. Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia) moved the WFLF simulcast from WTKS-HD2/W283AN to WMGF-HD3/W273CA, which previously had rebroadcast WMGF-HD2 in order to launch an urban contemporary format, branded as “104.5 The Beat”. It launched the day prior to WJHM (now WQMP)’s switch to CHR from rhythmic contemporary, that station first flipped to the format in 2005 briefly to compete with WPYO and in 2012 to compete with WXXL, Orlando’s only CHR outlet at the time.

The boundaries of the Orlovista CDP are West Colonial Drive (SF 50) on the north, Pine Hills Road on the east, Old Winter Garden Road (CR 526) and Carter Street at the Orlando city limits on the south, and Hiawassee Road on the west.The name is a portmanteau of Orlando and "vista".

Clarcona is a census-designated place and unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,990 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Lake Sherwood, just southeast of Florida State Road 429, is a natural freshwater lake west of Orlando, Florida, in Orange County, Florida. This lake is surrounded by residential housing and retail establishments. Two roads cross the lake via bridges. Colonial Drive, an east to west street, crosses its middle and Florida State Road 429 cuts across the southern portion of the lake. Much of the lake shore is swampy. Lake Sherwood is listed in the Orange County Wateratlas as a private lake; there is no public access along its shores.

WORL’s transmitter power is 12,000 watts by day, and because radio waves travel farther at night, 5,000 watts after sunset to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 950. The transmitter is off Ring Road in Orlando. Programming is also heard on a 225-watt FM translator, 94.9 W235CR in Orlando.
