Bay Harbor is a ghost town in Bay County, Florida, United States.

Callaway is a city in Bay County, Florida, United States, and is a suburb of Panama City. The population was 14,405 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first arrest for the sale to a minor of an explicit album (The 2 Live Crew Is What We Are) occurred in Calloway in April 1987, when a music-store clerk was charged with "sale of harmful material to a person under the age of 18," a third-degree felony. The clerk was later acquitted.

Cromanton is an unincorporated community (by some accounts a ghost town) in Bay County, in the U.S. state of Florida.

Springfield is a city in Bay County, Florida, United States, east of Panama City. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. Springfield was incorporated on February 12, 1935. The population was 8,075 at the 2020 census. Unlike much of Bay County, Springfield has been mostly left out of the recent real estate boom, possibly due to the large and odoriferous chemical plant and paper mill on the city's waterfront.

Rutherford High School is a public high school in Panama City, Florida, United States. The school, which describes itself as the "Home of the Rams" and is a part of the Bay District Schools, opened in 1961 as the second high school in Bay County. The school held its first graduation ceremony in 1964. The school was accredited by the SACS in 1963. In 2006, Rutherford had a student population of 1,755 students. Rutherford currently draws its students from the eastern side of Bay County with the majority being the Callaway, Cedar Grove, Springfield, Parker and Tyndall Air Force Base areas respectively.

Rosenwald High School (originally Panama City High School) is a public alternative secondary school in Panama City, Florida. It inherits the name of the Rosenwald School, a type of school founded for African American students established with support from Julius Rosenwald. The former school building is a historic landmark.

Tyndall Air Force Base is a United States Air Force Base located 12 miles (19 km) east of Panama City, Florida. The base was named in honor of World War I pilot 1st Lt. Frank Benjamin Tyndall. The base operating unit and host wing is the 325th Fighter Wing (325 FW) of the Air Combat Command (ACC). The base hosts 2,902 active duty members. In October 2018, Hurricane Michael caused significant damage to the base.

The National Security Emergency Preparedness office (AFNSEP or NSEP), of the First Air Force (1 AF) operates out of its Northern Headquarters at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, effective 1 January 2008. NSEP facilitates United States Air Force Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) activities for natural/man-made disasters and emergencies impacting the U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command areas of responsibility. NSEP ensures a smooth integration with civil and military authorities on all facets of Air Force (AF) support to civil authorities.

The Sapp House is a historic site in Panama City, Florida. It is located at 224 3rd Court. On October 4, 2003, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Bay County Courthouse is an historic yellow brick courthouse building located at 300 East 4th Street in Panama City, Florida. Built in 1915 in the Classical Revival style, it is Bay County's first and only courthouse. After a 1920 fire gutted the building, it was rebuilt in a much simpler form without its entrance pediment, gabled roof system and ornate central clock tower. The entrance columns and entablature, however, were retained. Later additions have been built on its left side. In August 1961 the Bay County Courthouse was the scene of the trial and conviction of Clarence Earl Gideon for felony theft. The court's refusal to provide Gideon with legal representation was overturned in the famous U. S. Supreme Court case of Gideon v. Wainwright. Gideon was retried here in August 1963 and was acquitted.In 1989, the Bay County Courthouse was listed in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press.

The Panama City Center for the Arts, formerly the Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida, is an art center in Panama City, Florida. Its development was part of downtown revitalization efforts. There is no connection to the VAC. The Center hosts shows of fine art, sculpture, jewelry and ceramics, as well as music and film events and classes. The Panama City Center for the Arts is located at 19 East 4th Street in historic downtown Panama City. The building was originally Panama City's first city hall.The Center for the Arts is managed by Bay Arts Alliance, a local non-profit arts agency of Bay County, and is partly supported by the city.
