The Ashbel Woodward House is a historic house museum at 387 Connecticut Route 32 in Franklin, Connecticut. The house is now operated by the Town of Franklin as the Dr. Ashbel Woodward House Museum. The house was built c. 1835, and is a fine local example of a Greek Revival house in a rural setting. It was home for many years to Ashbel Woodward, a local doctor. His descendants gave the property to the state in 1947. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 8, 1992.

Merrick Brook is a stream that runs through the towns of Scotland, Hampton, and Chaplin, Connecticut. It begins at an unnamed pond in eastern Chaplin and flows down into the Shetucket River at the very southern part of Scotland. It flows through Clark's Corner, Hampton, and the center of Scotland. It offers many wild trout for fishing.

Salt Rock State Campground is a public recreation area that preserves one mile (1.6 km) of wooded riverfront along the Shetucket River in the town of Sprague, Connecticut. In 2001, the state purchased the 149-acre (60 ha) campground for US$750,000 from Dwight and Jean Lathrop, whose "sensitive stewardship" of the property as its previous owners was recognized in the press. The state park offers RV and tent camping sites, swimming pools, and river fishing. The state curtailed camping services in 2016, reinstating them in 2018.

Built about 1715, it is a well-preserved example of colonial residential architecture, which was occupied by a single family for over 250 years. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is now owned by the local historical society.

It is named for Eastern Connecticut native Thomas Dodd who was a United States senator and Representative from Connecticut, and the father of U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd.

The Yantic Woolen Company Mill, also known as the Hale Company Mill, is a mill complex located at the junction of Chapel Hill and Yantic Roads in northwestern Norwich, Connecticut. Built in 1865, the stone mill is a well-preserved example of mid-19th century textile mill architecture, and was the major economic force in the village of Yantic, where it stands. The mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 25, 1996.

South Windham is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in Windham County, Connecticut, United States. It is located within the town of Windham, Connecticut. The population was 1,421 at the 2010 census.

Bozrah Congregational Church and Parsonage is an historic church and parsonage at 17 and 23 Bozrah Street in Bozrah, Connecticut. The church, built in 1843, is a well-preserved example of churches transitional between Federal period meeting house architecture and 19th-century Greek Revival church architecture. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

It begins at Beaver Brook State Park in Windham, Connecticut, and flows down to Merrick Brook in Scotland, Connecticut. A saw shop named after it is located near the border between the two towns.
