Cowlands is a hamlet at the head of Coombe Creek southeast of Playing Place in Cornwall, England. According to the Post Office the population at the 2011 Census was included in the civil parish of Truro.

Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation. It receives over 200,000 visitors annually.

St Anthony Battery is a former 19th century gun battery at St Anthony Head, Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall, England. It was built in 1895-97 and served during both World Wars. Following its decommissioning in 1956, the battery was acquired by the National Trust.

Old Kea Church and the nearby village of Kea are said to have been named after the Saint Kea who arrived at Old Kea from Ireland in the 5th century.

The value of the manor was 10 shillings though it had formerly been worth £1-10s.Only the tower remains of the original parish church which stood at Old Kea. A small mission chapel was built onto the church in 1863 and services are still held twice a month.Old Kea lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The King Harry Ferry Bridge is a vehicular chain ferry which crosses the Carrick Roads reach of the estuary of the River Fal in Cornwall, England, UK. The ferry crosses between the parishes of Feock and Philleigh, roughly halfway between the city of Truro, the lowest bridging point on the estuary, and the town of Falmouth, at the estuary's mouth. The ferry is owned and operated by the King Harry Steam Ferry Company Ltd. The current ferry boat, named No. 7, was built in 2006 and can carry up to 34 cars.

Porth Kea or Porthkea is a hamlet in Kea parish, south of Truro in Cornwall, England. It lies south-east of Kea village, on the other side of the A39.Porth Kea Methodist Church was built in 1869 and extended in 1877.

Tolverne Cottage, also known as Smugglers Cottage, is a small Grade II-listed cottage in south Cornwall, England. It is situated within the civil parish of Philleigh, on the Roseland Peninsula on the River Fal, between Truro and St Mawes, north of the King Harry Ferry. Made from slatestone rubble, the building probably dates from the 17th century, but was extended in the 19th century. It was designated Grade II listed status on 25 June 1985. The area was used as the assembly point for American troops before the D-Day landings and General Eisenhower stayed at the cottage during preparations for the landing. His chair was amongst memorabilia at the cottage which was auctioned off in 2012. The cottage was also frequented by members of the SS Uganda society while the ship was laid up nearby in the Fal.

Malpas is a riverside village, and former port, in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated two miles (3 km) southeast of the city of Truro, on the confluence of the Truro River and the Tresillian River.The village is in the civil parish of St Clement and is a popular centre for boating with navigable waterways to Truro, Falmouth and the sea. Historically, Malpas is known for its ferry service to the Roseland peninsula and there is a myth that this crossing was used by Iseult. Ferries and boat trips still operate from Malpas.Ships were built in Victorian times from Messrs Scoble's boat yard and timber was discharged here. Cargo for Truro was unloaded from ship to barge for transport to the city.Malpas lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Truro River from the city to the village form part of the Malpas Estuary SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). It is an important habitat of tidal mudflats, which are feeding grounds for wildfowl and wading birds. The banks of the estuary are also noted for its flora.The Malpas Wassail is a song collected from a group of local singers in 1951. It was included in the Topic Records album Songs of Ceremony and also recorded by the Watersons for their album For Pence and Spicy Ale (and then included in their The Definitive Collection HPO 6004).

Creek Vean is the Grade II* listed residential property in the village of Feock in Cornwall, England. It was the first building designed by Team 4, being commissioned by Su Brumwell's parents, Marcus Brumwell and Irene Brumwell. Construction began in 1963 and it was completed in 1966.

Boscawen Park (Cornish: Park Bosskawen) is a cricket ground located in recreation grounds along Malpas Road in Truro, Cornwall. The ground is situated directly next to the River Truro, which runs alongside its western side. The end names are the City End to the north and the Malpas End to the south. Alternatively, these ends are also known as the Cathedral End and River End.
